We had just over 2 inches of rain last night. 56ml in new fashioned quantities.

Hi everyone, I'm in Melbourne this week, staying with DS,DIL & adorable GS who is 3 today!
He is having a party on Saturday, so a pretty normal day today. He loves pizza so we are making his favourite tonight. I haven't had my iPad out too much,, as we have been spending a lot of time playing with him.

Chance loves retrieving dead birds Denise. I guess they are gifts to you.  :)

It really is wonderful to spend time with our little GS Cookie. He's peacefully sleeping now, so we are all having a bit of me time.
It has been very cold here in Melbourne!!!

So sad to read about the loss of your nephew, it must be so very hard to console you sister when she must be devastated.  Just being there helping and supporting her and listening when she needs someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on is vitally important to her just now and that is, I think, perhaps more important than saying the "right" words.

Take care of yourself and your family and keep in touch ... especially as you will be needing support at this time as well ... it is not just your sister who has suffered this loss, but all your family.  Hugs and condolonces from me to you.
