Yes they are great buddies cookie.  Today as I was about to enter the facility a chap came up to me and asked if I was Judy. Yes, do I know you I asked.  You certainly do he said - the penny dropped once I heard his voice, it was my cousin from Renmark.  When I finally got inside Geoff told me he'd been watching him and Mum interact, said Mum didn't seem upset so he must have been OK and he had nothing to worry about. My cousin didn't realise Geoff was in here too and had only met him once so neither recognised each other.  So, bottom line to the story is that Geoff looks out for her.

Judy, that is sweet of Geoff to look out for your Mum. Nice that they will have adjoining rooms in the new place.

Thanks Katj, it should work well having them so close to each other.

He's a 'big boy' now then Denise and a cute one at that!
Our skies opened up late this afternoon, boy it poured there for a while.
It keeps him alert looking out for her Denise, being bedbound there's really not a lot he can do to help except point out a problem to a carer.

Good morning everyone.  Yes Chookie, cookie sent it to us and we sent it over to you.  It didn't last long but did a lot of damage in some suburbs, not here though.  Apart from my herb tubs, I have not watered my garden all winter this year, it's been quite a wet one.

Sorry about the awful weather. ;D ;D ;D It is quite horrid for a day or two.
Judy we have water restrictions here for June, July and August. We aren't allowed to put any sprinklers on, even if you have a bore. It has been ok this year as the rain has been kind.

Water restrictions in winter, gosh things must be bad over there cookie.  Good thing we've all had a wet winter then, I hope your reservoirs were topped up for the summer.

All our dams are at about 1/3 capacity Judy. We have a desalination plant, possibly 2 and a lot of our water comes from underground. It is quite a concern.

As we drive between Cherokee and Invermay, we enjoy seeing all the dams full. It has rained all day at Cherokee today.
Cookie, those water restrictions are very severe. Many towns in Victoria are on permanent water restrictions.

Not sure if Louis school have a Grand Parents Day Chookie. :-\

Late on today folks.I've been taking DS to appointments grocery shopping and doing odd jobs for him around his house.
He had the results of the scan and no future intervention will be needed other than wearing the cast for another two weeks when it will be removed.
