Mornings are always 'fun' when school is on. We only had DD,DH and myself to get going but still managed to trip over each other etc. I remember as kids Mum had 3 of us to get on the bus and if we missed it she refused to take us into school as it was 25-30km each way. She said the absentee note would explain to the teacher the exact reason we weren't at school!!

Hi friends.
Slightly warmer today.A bit foggy walking with Chance this morning.

Good to hear your DD had a good first day at HS Robyn. It's certainly an early start for you all.

Morning all.
Well done Obbie and DD. Quite an effort.
We have 2 GC starting Secondary School this year.  They are both very excited.
Nice and cool today, 23.
Yesterday we were taken to a French Restaurant for lunch. It was perfect but very expensive. Small serves, beautifully presented and delicious. I had baked fish with bacon and mushrooms in a white wine sauce.

Good morning everyone. Our day looks perfect, 28 degrees.
My GD also starts her secondary education this year.
Yesterday I took one of the Probus ladies to see Lion then we had dinner afterwards, I can recommend the movie - we both enjoyed it immensely.

Good morning everyone.  A lovely day here.  I have 2 GD doing year 12 this year (VCE),  a lot of work ahead for both of them.

Good evening all. Lots of children heading off to high school this year it seems.
Mab, yes year 12 seems to be a stressful time for students. So much pressure on them to get into university - and university isn't for everyone. Tradies are well paid. We all know how much it costs to get a plumber, sparkie etc out.

So true Mich. One of DH's best mates went to Uni with him, all of the family went to Uni except the youngest. He became a Tradie and earns more than any of them.

A morning all.
Another cool day, lovely.
CC, sorry to hear that your weather is so bad. Very depressing.
Yesterday I swapped a dozen eggs, a large jar of Jam, one of hot tomato sauce and a bag of Pizzelli for  2 bags of chook food.
