Good morning everyone.  Nice and sunny here with a little bit of breeze.  A good day for the laundry so I did 3 loads this morning.  Rain forecast for later in the day.

It's beautiful here today as was yesterday. Spring is springing.

Lovely. Enjoy GS , CC.
Today we are going out for morning tea to a very special Cafe. It is part of a special school and farm for handicapped kids. We are going with neighbours. It is about 10 minutes drive from us.
It is 0 degrees at 7 am.

Good morning everyone. Waiting for my new gardener to start his weeding job - finally given in that I can't do everything on my own.
Sounds like fun Denise, I can remember when I was a kid and we used to go into the hills to pick blueberries with our parents.
Enjoy your morning tea Chookie, all for a good cause by the sound of it.

Another lovely day here in the West. Chookie that sounds freezing. I'm sure your morning tea will be  lovely.
Judy, the time certainly does come, especially as you have such a busy time. Geoff and your Mum are more important than the garden.

I've known him for some time through the 2 nursing homes cookie, he visits everyday like I do and only lives around the corner.  He's had company this morning whilst doing the driveway weeds, 2 magpies who have taken him on as their friend - should have taken a photo, they couldn't get closer if they wished.

Had a lovely morning tea.
Judy, we also are getting a gardener. I would rather spend my time cooking and in the veggie garden.

We had a gardener at one stage, but he turned out to be more a labourer than a gardener, so we decided to go back to battling the weeds by ourselves.  I would say, if you've got a good one, keep him / her!

I agree with you Chookie, other things taking priority over the garden but we don't want it to go to rack and ruin either. I will still potter, can't help myself when I go out to the bin or on the way to the car - will always bend and pull up a weed or two.
They have to do a decent job though Marina or they're not worth having.

Hi Friends,
Great idea getting a gardener Judy and Chookie to have extra time to do the things you love.

It eventually became sunny here today.
