Wow, did you and Ral eat all that Chookie?  It must have been a long lunch LOL.

Good morning everyone, sunny day so far.

Judy, we got to the sweets and didn't think we could fit them in. But some how the plate was finished.
I had just a banana for Dinner.

OMG What a meal. I would be happy with just the antipasto plate. I have just booked a holiday in Italy next year and this is what I am hoping to see! Not even vaguely interested in those sweets. Was this in a restaurant of an amazing friends house?

Yup Judy. About time I got off my lazy butt and did something. Cruising to the Solomon Islands in October. Don't think cruising is my thing but wanted to go there for some time. Going on a small group tour to Italy in Spring and off the beaten path so should be interesting. Staying two or three nights in places so not a run through.

Nothing much happening in Cairns at the moment except nice weather as has been all "Winter".

Things should start Spring ing down your way.

Yesterday was a beautiful Spring day. Today not so nice, overcast and windy.

Restaurant, Woodhouse in Bendigo. I think the Antipasto platter was my favourite. Sweets not really my thing, however the matching of each taste with its own ice cream was very good. I was thinking of you when we had the Duck liver Pate, it was Devine.
Gert, you will love Italy. Good that you are going to stop a couple of days.

Putting Bendigo on my list. Ted and I have been to Italy a few times but never the Appennies. Will have three days in Rome alone at the end of the trip. Should be lovely.

Looking forward to my first real cruise, freighters and ferries don't count, but not too keen on the massive amount of people on board. Scary.

Cruise ships are so big these days Gert, as lovely as they look I think I would prefer the smaller ones. Times are changing and cruising is just so popular these days that the ships just keep getting bigger and bigger - floating cities some of them.

I agree with the comments about the huge cruise ships - I don't think I would like them at all.  A smaller one would be more to my taste.

Enjoy your Italian holiday Gert.  It's good to stay in each place for a couple of days at a time otherwise packing and unpacking on a daily basis becomes a chore.

Why do I do this to myself … every week I download and print off loads of exciting / likely looking recipes, but never have time to cook any of them.  It is torture … how do I decide what to cook and what not to cook … how can I ignore my growing pile of untried recipes … and what about my ‘favourites’ … how can I neglect them …. Oh Woe!  Oh Woe!

I think  it's a common problem Marina. I used to have box  loads of recipes on paper. I now put them on Snap recipes and every now and then when I think my old ipad will go over its limit (that is my recipe ipad now) I delete those that I haven't made. Usually it's quite a lot,

Gert your trip sounds wonderful. have lots of fun.

Marina, here's a couple of pages of recipe titles from my notebook of skinnytaste.com recipes which arrive daily on my FB page.  I have other exercise books for many other sites too as I have stopped printing recipes unless I actually make them and wish to file the complete recipe. It doesn't take long to find a recipe on the lists. Of course I will never get to do all the recipes but if I don't make notes I completely forget where I saw a recipe as I follow so many people with healthy recipe blogs.

Marina, same here. I just love a new recipe. I've posted the Ciabatta recipe for you. Sounds complicated but just do a step at a time.
