Good morning everyone.  Quite humid here this morning.  Rain forecast for the next 4 days.

Rain last night.  Cooled things off.
Going to do the early vote thing today.

Very summery in the West today.

Nice patchy rain.  More today. 3 degrees at 7 am.
Went to ‘ vote early ‘ yesterday.  Thought we would avoid the waiting lines but it was just as busy as Saturday voting. They are saying that most people will have voted by Saturday.

I am always amazed and delighted at the pleasure it gives people when I give them a loaf of SD bread or Crumpets.

How did you survive yesterday's storms Judy?  There looked to be a fair bit of damage over your way.  Was it the same system that hit Cookie earlier in the week?

Good morning everyone.   It's sunny at the moment but there was a lot of rain again overnight.
We also voted early yesterday.  Not too many people waiting.

Good morning everyone.  Thanks for asking Marina. I’m still here after the worst night since the total South Australian black out back on the 28th September 2016 (it messed up my 70th birthday celebrations so I will never forget that date). It was quite scary and it sounded as if the suntuff was going to get ripped off the pergola but this morning all I found were 2 small pots had tipped over.  The power went off around midnight though and wasn’t due to be restored until 4.30 this afternoon. Luckily it came back on at 9am so all good here but other areas wouldn’t have fared so well.

Good to hear that you survived it unscathed, Judy.

Thanks girls, I’m glad it’s over.  I wonder if it’s heading your way now Chookie?

Hi Everyone,
It was a very frosty start to the day here. Chance and I had to take a detour on our walk as the horses were blocking our normal route.
