Good morning everyone.  Warming up here today and then hotter later in the week.  I hate the hot weather.

How wonderful to hear from you Julie O.  I can't believe your GS is 8. Time certainly flies.

I ate too much last night!! I felt bloated, but gee I enjoyed it. We are going to my brother's for lunch today. I will eat less there ( I'm afraid his wife is a lousy cook😁😁😁). Then it will be leftovers for dinner. DD is working again today.

Margaret, like you I hate the heat.

Sadly thermomix is bad language for them Judy. I believe one would be very useful for them, especially as the Parkinson's takes hold. But then not everyone loves the idea of a thermomix.

Good morning everyone, I’ve not long been up. Expecting 41 degrees today, hottest capital city in Australia today - not a record I particularly need to hear.  However this morning I’m heading out for coffee with a friend then off to the nursing home where no-one knows it’s so hot outside.  Tonight I’m taking a friend out for a meal.

Two very hot days coming up. 37 today and 35 tomorrow. Hate it.  Good AC so not going out.  Did the hand watering early this morning.

Not happy at all. We have had 240mm of rain in the past 24 hours and it has not stopped since Christmas Eve. At least it is hot.

That is a lot of rain Gert. It will certainly keep it humid. We had a 41 and then a couple of 36/37 or so. 35 Christmas day and yesterday wasn't too bad. It is staying reasonable until 35 on Monday.

I hibernate when it is hot. Stay cool everyone.

We survived the 37 yesterday.  Spent time learning some of the amazing things our Apple watches can do.   Today 35 and we have to go out for a medical appointment in the middle of the day.  We are also looking after DD big white dog for a week.  No trouble at all.

Good morning everyone, having a cuppa before going out to water the garden. Hotter than I thought it was going to be today so another stinker on the way. Out to dinner last night and lunch today.

Going to be hot here today as well - had a bit of rain this morning, but I suspect 99% of it evaporated before it hit the ground!
