Hi everyone, very hot again but still not bad inside without the a/c on.  That will change later in the week when we have 2 days of 40 degrees.  Finally finished my bedroom spring clean after tidying drawers in the ensuite vanity unit and bedside drawers. It’s interesting finding things you forgot you had and re-reading special cards and notes received over the years from DH and the kids.

It’s strange when you are experiencing warm weather at the same time as we in Australia are  Denise. Maybe you will have a milder winter too.

We have the air con here again today. It isn't as warm but quite humid. We don't usually have bad humidity.

Surprisingly I am Robyn, when I was younger it wasn’t so easy though.  I guess we put our big girl panties on and just get on with things when we’re older.

More heat today.  Dr appointment so have to go out.
GD arrived to start her cleaning job.  We are paying her commercial rates and she is worth every penny.  In 2 hours she cleaned the inside of all the windows, vacuumed most of the house and cleaned the big bathroom.  Fixed a curtain runner .  I didn’t want her to clean the outside of the windows as it was 36 when she was here.   Next week she will do those.
She is the Bagpiper and with her teacher will be accompanying John Farnham at a concert in Geelong when he sings Shout.

Well done to GD and well done you to employ her. I think she will be playing "You're The Voice" on the bagpipes. That is from his Whispering Jack Album in 1986!!!

Good luck with the doc today.

Hi Gert, I think you are correct about what GD will be doing. You have seen her in action.
This will be the 4 th time she has played the Bagpipes to this tune. She has also played Bagpipes at a funeral.  Gutsy kid.
Dr appointment today but results from biopsy not through.   However he was very positive about eventual treatment.  but this depends on results.
It is 36 degrees with a hot north wind.

What a moment for you GD Chookie, working with John Farnham will be a feather in her cap. I’ve been to a couple of his concerts in the past.  Sounds like she did a great job with the cleaning too, I don’t know too many kids (or any if I’m honest) that would want to do those jobs.

Wow, imagine accompanying Joh Farnham. A wonderful experience. Your GD will love being your cleaning helper.  Mum and Dad used to pay me to be the cook during my Christmas holidays. I didn't have to do breakfast though. I managed to save quite a lot and I loved it.
It must be stressful waiting for results.  Hang in there.

We had a lovely cool day here today. I am sending it over.
