JulieO, as I am just 2 minutes from the hairdresser I have told them I will be available at short notice, so hopefully the lawnmower will not be needed.

We have been having beautiful weather. Sunday is forecast to be 34. Naturally that is the day that there is a car display in the city at Langley Park, right on the river. I am in two minds if I should go or not. It is usually a boring day as they don't permit you to leave until after 3. I don't think there are too many wives going.

We are back to winter.  Max 9 today.
Loved the footie last night.  GS asked which team I was going to support. I said Dusty Martin.  He just laughed.

Not being a particular fan or a follower of the game, nonetheless, I was torn with the football last night.  My wonderful neighbour was 50 yesterday and a supporter of Richmond, my equally wonderful accountant is a Geelong supporter ... who should I barrack for ... well, neither, I was happy whichever way it went - although slightly happier for my neighbour!

Do any of you remember a Dutch guy called Stef who used to post on here quite a lot ... I thought I would put up a quick post for those that remember him., I just found out that his husband died recently .I dropped him a quick note and he said he does remember the forum, so that was nice.

Yes I do Cuilidh. I have kept in touch  with Stef on Facebook. It is so sad. Erik died quite suddenly and of course Stef is devastated. They were also partners in business. Stef has also had health issues recently do is doing it tough.

Well done Victoria. I have to admire Dan Andrews for sticking to his guns. It appears to have made him very unpopular. I wouldn’t like to be any of the Premiers during this time.

Great news Marina. Different parts of the UK are in lockdown. Where I live it’s teetering on going into lockdown again,

CC it's never a good thing to have to go into lock down, but I feel it is better if it is in the cooler / colder weather because people are not so keen to get outside as they are in the warmer months.  Best wishes if you have to ... get back into your hobbies, make sure you have something positive and constructive to do, take Chance for lots of walks, keep yourself occupied ... it helps ... above all, keep safe and well.

CC, hope you don’t have to go into lock down.  But if you do it isnt the end of the world.  You are in a rural area and this makes a  lot of difference. Marina‘s advice is good.
