No more new Covid cases in SA. That is excellent. Hopefully it’s been caught in time.

Chookie the bee keeping sounds wonderful. Honey from the hive is so very tasty.

We will survive Julie, we might become a bit bored though!  I’m quite OK for food and plan to go nowhere except perhaps the chemist if I need something.  No links to the cluster down here in my immediate area and I have masks.  I was lucky to have my car cleaner chap come yesterday so I have a beautiful clean car (inside and out) with a full tank sitting in the garage.  Then today the council sent contract workers out to remove a very dead jasmine creeper from my back fence.  I didn’t plant it, it belongs to my neighbour who recently had her side trimmed rather overzealously which resulted in the whole plant dying.  What an eyesore it became but through our wonderful council’s maintenance programme they were able to provide a team to remove it from my side of the fence and take it to the dump. They finished the job before the allotted time so they offered to cut some dead palm tree fronds down as well, wasn’t about to say no to that offer.   So lucky to have these 2 big jobs done before the restrictions kick in at midnight tonight.

They do sound like a great council Judy, actually doing more than was asked.  :D

Pretty much the same here, not much happening, DH back at work this morning so will be very quiet around home.  Will do a bit of cooking but nothing else planned as such. Missing my beach walk but no whinging here from me.  ;D

Frozzie, we’re you in the fire area last Summer?
Mild and warm today.
Might do a big cookup for chooks as I swap the food into new freezer.  I’m sure I’ll find surprise unlabelled packages. .

I looked through my freezer this morning looking for mince to use in a meal that I hadn't planned.  Have found 4 little packs of different types of mince that were surplus at the time.  I'm going to use these up in the meal as I don't think it will matter that they aren't all beef.  ;D

Yes we got it also. Very very heavy rain. Just had another downpour at 6 am.
Hope it hasn’t knocked all the peaches, apples and plums off the trees.

... and it was down here in the city as well.  Hopefully lots of reservoirs and dams filling up in the countryside.

No rain here as yet but very heavy skies and quite a cold wind.  Was very dark on our morning walk today, was like being back in winter again.  The air was fresh and really smelled of the sea.  Really good after a couple of hot days. :D

It's always such a lovely feeling to get that lovely fresh air break after a dry hot spell.

Good news here today. Lockdown 2 will cease on the 2nd of December. If it’s a disaster with families meeting for Christmas and the numbers start rising again after the festivities, we are headed for Lockdown 3.🤪
