CC, the cold blast sounds a bit chilly.  Rug up..
Marina, good arrangement with Chooks. Yes, it is hard to cut down fruit trees. We have an Apricot and  Almond trees that both need removing.  If you have any Apple tree wood, once dried it is the best for smoking food.
We have had a few lovely sunny days. Not too hot.  I love Autumn.

Such a contrast in weather Denise, you would have enjoyed that lovely Sunday.  Our weather has been warm and consistent throughout the whole Easter break and that must be some sort of record here.
It was a very busy Easter weekend for you and DH Marina, you would have been grateful for the help of his friend which left you free to keep their tummies full. I hope the chooks can keep both you and your neighbour supplied with eggs, shared custody will work well.

Your weather sounds lovely Chookie, and yours not very pleasant CC. We have had temperatures around 32/33 over Easter and then about 1mm of rain each day to keep the humidity high. Today is 29 and blue skies. Much better.

Marina, keeping the Apple tree sawdust is fab. I attended a Smoking workshop years ago. It is probably the best hands on experience of my life.

Our weather has been very much the same, 27, 27, 27 and tomorrow will be 30. Then we appear to be having 2 cyclones visiting us. I've been reading a lot about the Fujiwhara effect, when 2 cyclones come near each other. It's been quite interesting.

DD and DH are taking their cars to a display on Sunday, hopefully they won't get washed out. If there is any sign of hail DD won't be taking her Mustang.....its too precious.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the weather. All our news bulletins were going on about it, but now they have the death of the Duke of Edinburgh to talk about.

Cyclone Seroja has created her havoc and is moving rapidly inland and off the south coast now. The area I grew up in seems to be have pretty badly hit. Kalbarri really copped it. Farms lost shed rooves and in some cases sheds and house rooves. Not fun for them at all. I remember sitting under the kitchen table as a little kid and watching a mill being pulled from the ground and go sailing over the shed that was being shredded. I don't think I believed Dad when he said it would be all ok.
