Cool, stormy weather here today after yesterday being a beautiful spring day. We have rain forecast for the rest of the week.

Warmer, 15 max.  Didn’t get the forecasted rain.
Cleared a large veggie bed yesterday.   Planted out seedlings yesterday. Chinese cabbage and little Gem lettuce.
Hope ovens installed Thursday next week.

Not much rain. 15 degrees. Quite pleasant.
The father duck is very badly behaved.  He attacks the mother and the ducklings. Tries to drown them. Mother rushes in when he attacks the ducklings. Most upsetting.

It was foggy here this early morning and it's turned into quite a nice day.

DIL has told us today that we now have quite a lot of Covid cases in the town.  Not good news.  DIL works in the ED of our local hospital so is up with everything that is going on.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

That drake sounds like he needs a kick in his rear feathers Chookie. I’ve never heard of that before.
I hope your DIL is coping ok Mab. Our DD and all her crew, had to go for special mask fitting last week.  She has been told that she must wear a shield as well as a mask as the mask doesn’t fully protect her. Most of her friends have weird shape faces too and are in the same boat. She is hoping we don’t have a lot of cases here.

The shield will give DD much better protection cookie, I hope it’s not too uncomfortable to wear.
What a brute that drake is Chookie, hopefully he will settle down pretty quickly and leave them alone.  I wouldn’t be allowing him to father anymore if I was that Mother duck!

Mab, keep safe. Stay at home if possible.  Hope your DIL can cope with all the demands.
Cookie, the plastic face shields should help.
Rained on and off all day.
We are back into home deliveries.

Sorry to here your news Mab.  I feel so sorry for all the hospital workers (I have two daughters).  Having to wear PPE all day isn’t fun and they feel so tired after their shifts with all the extra demands besides the masks ect.

Stay safe everyone!

Trudy , your daughters are doing a marvellous job ,so thankful that there are dedicated people worth their weight in gold .
Seems there is no information regarding exposure sites now !! Very confusing with tier 1 Information of what to do now as well . Gosh the days ahead are like being black out and no able to see .
Beautiful weather at the moment, love spring.

Try this K Atie for COVID sites - you will have to scroll up,but it will hopefully help.  I heard that they are not listing Tier 2 sites.
