Just I hope Geoff is feeling more himself tomorrow. I can imagine your lunch would have been lovely.

Nikkit thanks for the camp spot, I will check it out in my Camps 6 book. We have chosen one called Koorarawalyee or something similar. But it would be easy to change.

I spent today packing and cooking. I am surprised that my allocated space for clothes is nowhere near full.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Cookie1 - "our" camp spot is very close to that one, but I'm looking in our Camps 5 and it is not mentioned in it. I'll double check with hubby tomorrow night when he gets home, but I think it is 50km east of Southern Cross, so pretty close to the one you have marked.
Looking at another map I have, Karalee Rocks are 19km east of Yellowdine. I can remember it not being very well signposted a couple of years ago. You drive in about 3km and turn left and about 1 km is the rock. dam, catchment etc. It has very interesting walks and signs that tell you history of how and why the dam was made in the goldrush era.

Oh, just re-read my camps 5 and on mine it says Karalee Rock is number 323. 52km east of Southern Cross.
Helps when you read it properly huh!? :-[
And if you haven't filled your spot, then it leaves room to bring goodies home!

Judy, hope Geoff is feeling better today.

an interesting 24 hours for us. DD had a group of friends over for a spa last night so not to be outdone DS managed to get a new friend over at short notice. Dinner went from just DH and myself to dinner for 8! After dinner DS and his friend were playing soccer with a small ball and apparently as DS was kicking he some how stubbed his toe, because he has such a low pain threshold we thought his carry on was just an over reaction but after a few hours in the emergency department he has a broken large toe near the growth plate so they have got him in a moon boot until we see the orthopeadic on Thursday. He's thinking it's all a bit of fun at the moment, but this probably means he will miss try out for representative and school basketball so we are waiting for the realisation to hit him. He can't normally can't sit still for more than a few minutes so if he has the moon boot or a cast for a couple of weeks and can't play sport, I think he will become unbearable.

Hope that heals quickly Wonder. Know all about very active boys and excess energy.  :-\

DH and I walked the old train track from Toronto Station (that is now a museum) to Fassifern Station and back. A good hour and a half at a quick pace. Lovely walk.
That was before we called into the supermarket to get the double cream to go with dessert tonight.   :-))

Oh no, Wonder! Your poor boy. Toes create a lot of pain...considering they are such small things :(

Ouch poor kid, broken toes are so painful.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Wonder your poor DS. Toes may be little but they certainly can be painful.
Hope he has a fast recovery.

Thanks Nikkit. We may swap our plans. See how the run goes tomorrow.

Ow Wonder. DD is a mad AFL follower and the only time she has ever left a match early was when she had broken her toe in the rush to leave on time. It was giving her so much grief at the game that she left at half time.  :-\

I broke my toe when I kicked a guy's foot (he was sitting with his legs stretched out)! I broke it when I was a teenager and interestingly we still talk to each other even though our lives have gone in different directions.
