I was in the one in Ion centre with DD. more than once!!!

Arrived in Melbourne after circling for a while until the wind died down. Had a lovely taxi driver that almost got us to our motel.
Our room is wonderful. Spent the rest of the day looking around town. Enjoyed dinner at The Casino and DH came out ahead $100 on The Big Wheel, it's the only thing he likes to play as normally pokies etc bore us to tears - DH would like to go back tomorrow night - hope this isn't becoming a problem for him? 

Tomorrow it's off to Victoria Markets - we are able to walk which is a bonus and we would also like to go to the IMAX at the museum and see the dinosaur/ice age thing on, it's 20% off.

I'm enjoying a Southo & Coke and then it's bed time for me.

Michele,  good to see you are having a great time and are in holiday mode.  Glad the accom. Is good,  it certainly is in an excellent spot to visit the market.
We are taking CC to the Farmers Market at Kyneton this morning.  Then home to set up tables,  do veggies and generally get ready for Sunday.  Better get going.

Mich great to see you made it and having a great time, the weather today is pretty good for walking although im sure it was cold in the market.

I've spent the morning finding ideas for a diamond ring I'm having made with some diamonds I've collected over the years and going over them with a wonderful jeweller, I'm not much of a jewellery person  so finding it quite daunting. I'll have to wait a few weeks for them to get back to me with a quote and confirm what we discussed can be done, but excited that after having the oldest of the diamonds for approx 17 years that they will finally see the light of day.

I took Mum out for lunch today, dropped a load of boxes etc off to Katie for the retreat and am now visiting Geoff for the last time before we fly out in the morning.  I couldn't believe fog was still hanging around the sea front at 1.30 p.m.!  It had better not happen tomorrow.

Had to laugh as DH went down to Sydney yesterday for a DIDHEDIE lunch, stayed overnight and could not get a flight out of Sydney to Cairns. He has manage to get a flight to Brisbane and who knows when He can get a flight out of there. I am having a glass of pink bubbles sitting in the sun reading the Papers ALL BY MYSELF. LOL

MF I was just thinking he is 84. He started work for QF in 1946 when I was 3 years old. He can figure it out for himself. LOL! I might get another free day!

You are one busy lady MF 4 kids for2 nights and I would be bonkers.  Anyway I am sure you are organised and the trip will be wonderful. DD is happy to be home but has to get back to work to pay the CC for all the fun they had in Positano.

Wow that's a long time ago but he doesn't look or act like an 83 year old at all. I would never have guessed his age if you hadn't told me.
A very lively entertaining man. My DH really enjoyed his and your company. He was just talking about that last  night actually.

Yes I will be busy and to be honest not what I really need as soon as I get back from Adelaide but it is what it is and I will just have to deal with it and at least the following week I will relax as soon as I hit the Emirates lounge.

Hope DH makes it home but if not you will enjoy another free day

Busy house here at the moment with MIL, FIL, my mum and my uncle on top of the usual four. All here at the moment as yesterday Mareike had her first day at school, which is done as a big thing with friends and family supposed to be there for the big day.

So yesterday was also my one day not cooking for everyone
