You've been very luck up to date maddy, I know of no man who would sleep in a pink bedroom  :D

Don't think my DH would be too keen on sleeping in a pink  bedroom.  He is a very tolerant man but I think that might stretch the friendship a bit too much. :D

Took the GD's shopping today, gave them a generous allowance each and said they could keep what was left over.  There was much discussion and they were very careful about what to buy and neither one of them spent more than $20.  They came home happy and I came home with sore feet. :)
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Today I have been lazy as it is nicely raining. On my iPad and computer I have been watching  SMHTV  Jimmy's Food  Factory.  A BBC production about how food is manufactured in the UK Most  interesting to see how he replicates corn flakes and instant coffee in one and processed cheese in another episode.

I enjoyed that on TV Gert. Quite amazing really. It's not raining here, a tad warm. Sitting around in the air con not doing much.
I must make some bread in a while or we won't have anything to put our sandwich fillings in on the car run tomorrow. I'll bake it when the sun goes down.
Enjoy the rain Gert.

Maddy what broke the straw on the DH's back for the pink bedroom?

I never even heard of that show cookie. Was it on pay TV?

Cookie, I beg to differ. It's more than a tad warm right now.

My willpower is being sorely tested. Prepping doors for a paint job is even harder than usual, with a brutal temperature of 43C in the backyard 😱

He wants to come inside Gert.  What, if anything, sent him on his way?

I've been doing some snake wrangling.  This was was really angry as some birds had chased it under my BBQ!

He/she was pretty upset as the birds nearly got it.  Just gave it a tap on it's tail and it headed next door .

I don't think you can ever be too pink Maddy.  :D

Nice snake Gert.  :D

My DS and his fiancé have decided to move in together  :-\  I would have preferred they would have waited until they were married - but not my decision to make. DH and I are helping them move tomorrow into a tiny flat in Sydney CBD with a huge rent. I don't want to be an over bearing, controlling MIL and did run this by my future DIL before I did this. (Jess always remarks how organised my pantry is). So bought containers from Kmart and did a bit of shopping for pantry staples.

Just showed Annika your pics Gert and her comment was OMG that is sooooo cool! She loves snakes....
Just pottering around today, washing, grocery shopping, a bit of cooking. Miss 10 at a sleepover party so Miss 8 & I went out for dinner.
I was thinking as I was reading all the terrible salesman stories, "haven't these people seen Pretty Woman?", but maddy beat me to it. ☺️ Funny when I was looking for a car with 2 kids in tow I was never asked where hubby was, guess they had me pegged as single from the get-go!

My late DH passed away many years ago and I bought my corolla (first major purchase alone since I married at 19yrs) 5 yrs ago. I went to look at a Mazada, Honda wouldn't serve me, VW were good. I ended buying a corolla as my son-in-laws father held my hand through the process.  :D
