Getting as much housework done as I can this morning as I am having a cyst cut off my scalp at mid-day.  :(

Do you lose a patch of hair when they do that astarra?  I've known men who've had it done but they were bald  :D

Yesterday we collected our caravan from DS shed where it has been stored since our move 12 months ago.

We are hoping toget away on Thursday for a couple of weeks, so today we have been checking to make sure everything is ok and restocking a few essentials.

It will be lovely to get away and just relax. :)
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Have had Miss 12 at the doc as she had a cricket ball vs thumb incident on Friday. She is having an ultrasound and xray this arvo.

Am quietly feeling like the worst Mum on earth right now as the doc said "why didn't you see to this on Friday?" Miss 12 said "it didn't really hurt a lot til now".

Happy holidaying Mab, be nice to get away.

Astarra, hope all goes ok for you.

Was DD telling the truth or just covering for you Nikkit.  If what she said was the truth then how were you to know there was something wrong.  Don't beat yourself up - that is unless she indicated to you on Friday that she thought her thumb was broken :P

She's telling the truth Judy. We discussed it with her over the weekend and asked if she wanted to go to emergency to have it checked out and she opted not to.
It is hard to tell what is wrong as there isn't any swelling, no bruise, no real sign of an impact!

Lets hope it is just bruised.

Don't worry Nikkit....can't tell you how many times we've gone for X-rays after footy....sounds harsh, but unless boy child has redness, swelling, persistent crying or bone at a wrong angle...I don't go to doctors....boys exaggerate everything I found  :P

DJ...it's never ending is it!

Cookie...hope DD's health improves soon.

Weekends candles were Persian fairy floss flower pots, and Strawberries & champagne cupcakes & Macarons....hoping to make cake slices soon  ;)

Maddy, once again they look fantastic. I think you are onto something here. A creative outlet that you dont eat. No carbs, kilojoules or calories just lots of fun by the look.

Yum! Look good enough to eat those candles Maddy!
And thanks for the advice - wise words of wisdom re broken/not broken bones, much appreciated!

Quietly not impressed at the moment - it is 39 outside. Can someone tell the weather gods that it is AUTUMN. Come on, we are low on water, my plants are struggling, my paddocks are crispy, I am sick to death of the weather man/lady saying that the rain is coming (and so is Easter!)  and I am over it.  >:( :(

Time for a cup of "hardenup" with my "get over it" biscuit for arvo tea me thinks... ;D
