Glad to hear that you are all settled in your new home Gert.  Love the solution to the wine fridge. :) :)
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Went with DD and 3 GC to visit my ex MIL.  Today was her 104th, yes 104th Birthday!
She is in a nursing home, but still amazing, a bit forgetful, asking same questions from time to time, but still reads, plays  a little piano and moves around pretty well .

What a great age exMIL's reached Katj.  We have a 100 + year old who races around on her walker and can read the clock without glasses.  These ladies are amazing.

They certainly are. There was a lady of 102 at the place Mum went for care awaiting placement. She was lovely. She and Mum had a lovely friendship. They would sit in the foyer and read. ( both were in wheel chairs)  the staff would tell them to go and read somewhere else but this lovely lady would insist that were staying there....and they did. She was very knowledgable and would stand no nonsense.

If I am healthy and happy I wouldn't mind either.

She definately enjoyed our visit, especially the GGC. 4 yo GS was eyeing off great Nans large lolly jar. I told him, 'when you get to be 104, you can pig out on lollies too'. He said, 'really Nanna' and I said yep and you won't even have to share them if you don't want. He thought that was pretty cool.

Love all the discussion about 104 years.  Feel  like I am heading that way a bit too fast for my liking.

I'm sitting here watching my footy team play the Dockers. My heart is in my mouth, I hope we win. There has been a lot of hype over here during the week about the match.

Good luck to your team cookie, it looks as if they're going well at the moment. Both our SA teams had good wins this weekend.
