Your holiday sounds wonderful Jen.
Lol Cookie, I'm sure your outing was more about the drive, ice cream a bonus.
We got a call from DD at 9 am to say they needed to get one of their darling dogs put to sleep. She wanted me to come over and sit with the kids while she and SIL took dog to vet. I was still in pj's and cleaning up after making pesto. Quick shower and off I went.  Poor daughter was devastated.  GS 5 tomorrow kind of understood, other 2are too young to understand.

So sad Katj. Part of the learning  and growing up.  Hard when we outlive our many pets.  Hugs.

Katj I feel sad for your DD and family. It is devastating when you have to make that decision. Our vet has big boxes of tissues.

A sad day for your family Katj, it's a tough call to make.

I had a lovely afternoon with DD2 today, we met for lunch then went to the football for the first time  together.  My first match in many weeks, it was nice to finally be well enough to make it for our last match.

Thanks to everyone for their kin thoughts.
Judy Port Adelaide played really well, so Zi'm glad you got to see them win. Fremantle played a shocker, I know they rested about 12 players but still a poor show. I think the finals will be very interesting this season. Eagles had a huge win and look really good!

The crowd loved it Katj, especially after so many poor umpiring decisions really fired things up.  Nothing like a bit of a melee to get the best out of the players. It's hard to tip whose going to go on now and finally win the grand final.  Good luck to all those who have a team which made the final 8.

So sorry to hear about your DDs dog.  A sad time for all.

Our GDs dog (which I share :D) had to have her spleen removed during the week as it had a huge growth on it.  We are now waiting for the results and hoping all is ok.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I wondered if you had managed to get to the footy Judy. I think it was very wrong for Fremantle and North Melbourne to rest players.
I'm very pleased that Port won. I also loved seeing by team win.

This is really exciting! Took rubbish to the tip and cleaned out chook shed, yesterday. Would rather be eating Ice cream with Cookie after a long drive.
Today cooking Corned beef in SC so we can work in garden.

Of course.  They all have names. Named by GC, Fred and Freddy !!   and after a lot of research, 3 named after girls in Star Wars.
There are 4 Alpacas at the new place that we can have if we want.. Don't think so as they have to have their toe nails clipped, wormed and shorn. Been there done that.
