Kat that is a good idea. We left a couple of boxes with daughter but still haven't collected them. It is quite a challenge deciding where is the best place to put things. Good luck with your shift. It was nice for you to have a break in Melbourne before the shift.
We are having our first visitors tomorrow, for lunch.

Well spotted Marina. I'm afraid I don't look at those things. I should train myself to do so. DH has gone off to car club with the last of the sausage rolls for lunch, and Chookie's Banana Rum and Raisin cake for play lunch. They share their play lunch!
I'm sitting here thinking I need to menu plan and then go shopping. I should go early as it is going to be 36+, but I can't be bothered. I think I will have a coffee and consider it.  :D ;D ;D

Hi Bedlam. You have a lot happening at the moment. Chookie and Ral haven't sold, but they have shifted-sort of.
Take care.

Just noticed, CC, your above post was your 14,000th - what a lot of nice, round numbers!  What a milestone.  By the time you read this you will have added even more posts to that number.
I hadn't noticed Marina. It was just a fluke that you saw it at the right time LOL

Hi Bedlam lovely to hear from you.

DD and I went to see John Cleese and Eric Idle on Wednesday night. I loved it and had the most pleasant evening of full scale laughter. Quite irreverent in places and politically incorrect, but that made it even funnier.
The theatre was booked out.

It was. I had tears running down my face too. The young man one along from me had a sort of whoop laugh and we got the giggles over that as well. All in all a fun night.

The show sounds wonderful Cookie, We love all the Monty Python characters, especially John Cleese & Eric Idle.
There are not many really funny guys in show biz these days.
Coming to the end of the packing, DH and I are exhausted tonight. Glad we have a quiet night, no energy for anything much.

DD and GC coming for a birthday lunch today.   GD number 4 is turning 14.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Went for my 5000km eye check today.  All good for the next 5000km. We also went to the Spud Shed where DH ran amok buying things.

Hello all, I know i am hardly on here but think of you all often. Am finally going to open the B and B in  May so very busy with final preparations. Just waiting for the new utility room to be finished, it is in the old barn right next to the house, it was the one thing this house didn't have. Re-took food hygiene cert yesterday, registered as food premises, taking pics for website etc.
DH may be about to start new treatment, all depends on last week's CT results. Mended greenhouse at the weekend so off today to buy empty plug trays to sow seeds for veg garden and decorative pots. Always something to do. :)
Perhaps some one can kindly give me a potted update on everyone's news? cheers DJ
