Very exciting Margaret. It's lovely round that area.
Suzanne I can guess what you are up too. I love the bunny tails.

This morning I went to our local large shopping centre (a Westfield one) and had an eye makeover. I love makeup and the lady doing it was really nice so we talked a lot too. I now have 'smoky' eyes. I quite like it but I'm unsure if I would re create it. Even though there was no obligation I did buy the eyeshadow that was used. I know I will use it as I don't have smoky shades in my enormous pile. I will tell DH it can be for my birthday.

I was going grocery shopping but I think I will do that early tomorrow morning.

I've been to Costco this morning then met a friend for lunch up her way before visiting DH & Mum later than usual.

Love to catch up with what everyone is doing.
We are been pretty busy still. Found more boxes to un pack.
Ral has ordered me 3 specially made Colour Bond raised garden beds. They have to fit the space available.
Lots of visitors and tradies coming and going. Must do some baking but don't seem to have time.
Have been thinking of you Bedlam. You are even busier that us , with your little one, the Wedding and shifting house.  I'll bet you take it all in your stride.

We were up at 5.30am this morning. DH has gone to Fremantle to pick up our friends from their cruise and DD is doing the Easter Bunny trick at work. I asked if everyone giggled and carried on like kids when they did the egg hunt. She replied 'yes!'  At first I thought how silly, but then decided why shouldn't they? Just because they all have at least 2 degrees and are professional people doesn't mean they have to be serious all the time.
I loved it at school when we left Easter Bunny tracks for the kids to find all over the classroom and left little eggs everywhere.

Your DD sounds like a fun person cookie and I'm sure she brightens a lot of people's lives. Why shouldn't they have as much fun as kids at Easter or any other time really.  Some people take life far too seriously.

So very true Judy. When we did the Birdsville Track we had a riot with our friends. We kept sending photos of the silly things we did,  to each other's kids. One child remarked that she was glad she wasn't with us as we were acting like 2 year olds. We loved the comment and continued being silly. Another child remarked (when we were at the Dig Tree where Burke and Wills died) that she would do as they had done if she had to travel with us.

I have to say that after planting the eggs, I love to join in. We have a delightful photo of youngest GC offering Ral one of his eggs.
Bought.  a dozen eggs yesterday and 2 broken and 2 stuck to carton.  Not used to buying eggs, should have checked. Will be returning them.  Not happy. Must get some new chooks.   There is a hen house at Invermay but not nice enough . Not sure it would keep the foxes out.

I had to laugh at that Chookie. When Mum and Dad left the farm and I had to start buying eggs the same used to happen to me. I would see people buying eggs and opening them and wriggling them. I thought they were silly.  Now I do the same. I still crack all my eggs before I use them too.

Cookie , I always crack my eggs into a separate cup before adding them. I also now know why people were always happy to have a gift of my eggs.
