Candles look beautiful. Cookie what fun you must have had having your eyes done; unfortunately I cant wear eye shadow on one eye so, of course, none at all. I do like a bit of mascara though. Got to have some fun even at our age.

I am making some chilli jam at the moment for my SIL so thought I would have a look here since I haven't been able to for a few weeks.

I also made some banana bread from the coles brochure; turned out lovely so will post my version for thermomix in the next couple of days unless someone has already done it.

The Banana Bread sounds nice Troupie.
Today we went down to the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour and had fish and chips for lunch. It was really pleasant. There was a strong wind blowing and we even felt cold.

Heading off in the caravan to Narooma so will be absent for a couple of weeks.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Enjoy it Margaret.
DD and I have had great fun today. We went out to Joondalup ( about 55km away) to do a sweet bread class. We had fantastic fun. This is the class we did. http://sweetartistacademy.com.au/courses/sweet-yeast-products/

We took photos but they are on DD's phone, so I will need to add them in a little later.

How did you go with it cookie, with your baking experience did you find it a breeze?  Can't wait to see your photos.

We made 3 different sweet breads. Crossaint, Danish and Brioche. We used  the bread machine for the kneading of each dough. Then we added the butter to the Brioche dough in the bread machine too, bit by bit. The croissant and Danish doughs we smashed the butter out to an A5 size and put it into the dough. Then did all the rolling and folding.
From the Brioche dough we made a 'crown' ( a large circle of dough with a crown snipped into it and sugar on the top), 6 small brioches and a plaited brioche.
From the croissant dough we made 6 normal croissants, 6 almond and 6 chocolate. From the Danish dough we did 9 windmill Danishes with custard and an apricot half on, then 9 sort of scrolls with custard and sultanas in them.
The guy that ran them said the thermomix was brilliant for making bread etc. we go back on Thursday for another class.

The Danishes would be my favourite cookie, I have to drag myself away when I see them in bakeries.  Great baking, bet you loved making all those goodies.
