Hi everyone, nice to see so many familiar people still here. I haven't been on here for sometime but I'm still about and still loving my Thermie (both of them)

Hi Dede,

Nice that you dropped by. Love the avatar. How is the caravan coming along?

Hi mcmich,
The caravan is still not finished but it does look pretty good. I'm working full time and don't have a lot of time to work on the caravan these days. One day it will be completed .
I actually come on the forum looking for some egg free recipes as my new partners son is anaphylactic to egg.

Well it sounds like you have some changes in your life.
Have you tried egg replacer or flax seed meal with water or chia seed with water?
Google and find out which is best to use as a binder, raising agent etc.  :)

Hi dede.  It is lovely to hear from you. When I was very young I couldn't cope with egg at all.. Thankfully I outgrew it. This is a recipe Mum was given by my allergist in the time of the dinosaurs. I still make it and we all love it.

Dede, great to see you here again.

One thing you could try would be 'aquafaba' which is the liquid drained off a tin of chickpeas.  Look it up on google.  Chookie has been experimenting with it a lot and it mimics egg white, so you can do meringues, mayonnaise, etc.

That does sound interesting. I will have to do some research.
My partners son is only 5 so hopefully he will grow out of it eventually, but for the time it would be nice to try a few egg free options.

Hi Dede, it's so nice to see our 'oldies' pop in and share their news with us.  I'm happy for you, you deserve it.

Dede, great to see you on the Forum.
Glad all is ok with you.
The Aquafaba is fab ;D. My GD had an egg problems  until she was 6. I tried many egg substitutes but none as good as the Aquafaba. The only problem is what to do with all the Chickpeas.
