I've been sorting out Christmas decorations. I have a pile to donate to a charity shop. They haven't been used for years so thought why am I storing them  :-))

Having my hair cut at 6.00pm this evening.  My hairdresser has been cutting my hair for 35 years and is now retiring except for a few long standing customers, fortunately I am one of them, as long as we are happy to fit in with her times.

That's great Margaret. I love keeping the same hairdresser, as long as they are good. You will look extra beautiful for when you go away.

I didn't get far with my filing yesterday, we had 3 lots of visitors. It will keep, but it was lovely having lots  of visitors.

Went to an evening talk at Books for Cooks last night by the guys from the Tivoli Road Bakery (Toorak) – of course, their book just happened to be sitting right in front of me and it looked so lonely that I thought I should take it home with me (after making a suitable monetary contribution, of course!).  It was a thoroughly enjoyable and informative evening - the sample nibbles were delicious and, of course, the book is excellent.  DH is already eyeing it up for the sourdough bread section.

That’s a lovely gift Chookie, enjoy your day with the rellies.
Enjoy your new book Marina, it’s dangerous going to cooking classes - a book usually makes it into our handbags LOL.

That book sounds wonderful Marina. I will have to have a small peek!
Have a lovely meal Chookie. I thought I may add a couple of similar things to my brother's Christmas gift.
I vacuumed and washed the floor this morning. DH has gone over to a friends so it can dry.

I have cleaned the house today, did some washing and ironing and packed our cases for tomorrow.  We have to leave at 5.00am because of freeway traffic.  It took DIL 2 1/2 hours to go to Melbourne this morning, it usually about 1 1/2 hours.

Mab, enjoy your holiday.
We also find we have to leave plenty of time when we go to Melbourne.

I had my window cleaner here this morning and this afternoon I went to a new, local dentist for the first time - very happy with them.

Dentistry has come so far since we were kids Judy. It is amazing. I'm still scared stiff but the lass we see is wonderful.
