Was it postponed to another night though Marina, you might still have to sit through it.

Having my hair cut today.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

DH was given a Model A engine a few weeks ago. He has been working on it and has it running. The man that gave it to him came last week to see it running, he had had it for 30 years. He came back a day later with the man that had given it to him.  Neither of them had heard it run before.
Today we had more visitors regarding the engine.  A man around our age who had put parts in it when he was 16. His father had been the original owner way back......a long time ago.

These males and engines, they have a network that the CIA would be proud of. It's been great to hear the history of this engine.

Cookie, that is fascinating. Love the history behind these old cars.   Well done Mr Cookie.
My first car was a Lea Francis which my dad rebuilt.  There was also a network of men who collected and rebuilt these cars.
More cleaning out kitchen drawers for me today.

I love reading men’s stuff like this cookie. Well done Mr cookie for giving them the opportunity of hearing the engine after so many years. Keep the biscuit tin full, there may be a steady stream of male visitors in the future who have an interest in old cars.

Good on him Robyn.

Yes ladies I have had fun making goodies for them. Most usually start of with 'oh nothing to eat, thanks.'
Then they have some.

Wow that is the coolest car Chookie , what colour was yours . Spent the day with the kids and DH on their kayaks . It was very warm , had lots of swims . So peaceful reading my book while DH and DS paddled out and tried to fish ! DD was reading her book (school book , to kill a mocking bird !in the shade ,very sensible, unlike her mother who is a shade of red ) . great day but homework time was very late .

I did an indoor tabletop sale with a friend today.Lots of sellers but very few buyers. I did sell a few bits and bobs but not a great deal of profit. There is another next month so will haul the unsold items back again ;D
