I would suspect some of the elderly wouldn’t know how to turn the ring off as I have a friend with a phone and we had a good laugh the other day when she wanted to use it to take a photo of my DH. There’s no excuse when you have been reminded to turn it off at different functions. Our post office will not serve you if you are on a mobile phone.

Good on them Judy. I have seen a few signs around that say people will not be served if they are on their phone.

We have been helping in the shearing shed today , DD stencilled the bales , packed and pressed the pieces into a bale . I cleaned up the smoko room and helped pick up the locks . DS sweeps the floor of locks and put them in the bale he also helped DD with the baling . Took them awhile to get into the swing of it all again but I think they enjoyed it all . They did not like the fact the shearers smoked . First day of holidays sorted , really as weekend full of hockey .

K Atie, very busy at shearing time.  Enjoy the hockey at the weekend.
Busy in Melbourne at the sales.  Bought 2 pairs of Perry Cutten slacks.  Reminds me to make her Lemon Feather cake. ( posted)
Marina, not sure if you know about the organic food shop in the Carlton Court centre.  That is the one with Brunetti at the front.  Right at the back is an organic food shop.  Expensive, but if you are desperate for some ingredient, they probably have it.

Thanks, Chookie, I didn't know about that shop in Carlton Court.  I like visiting Lygon Street so that one will definitely be worth a visit.  Is Brunetti still there?  I thought they had moved.

There is also another good organic / health food shop on High Street, Westgarth (Northcote) called - I think - Terra Madre.  I haven't been into that one, either, but several people I have spoken to say it is excellent and, apparently, HUGE.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

It’s all happening here, a hot water service is being installed so there are plumbers and electricians here plus my valet car cleaner is here doing his thing too.
