K Atie, we all know how hard it is to do this, but be sure to take it easy and don't push yourself.  Let everyone else take care of you for a change, just for a little while until you are ready to start easing back into your usual routine.

Katie, glad to hear that you came through the op ok.  Now it is time to take it easy for a few days and let the family help you.

I’m glad the first part is over KAtie.

I’m sitting trying to watch my footy team. Talk about nerve racking. It is up and down.  It is enough to test the strength of your heart several times over.

I’m not a footy fan but did watch Cookies team last night. It was so exciting as it swung back and forth.

Great match last night cookie, the best one so far in the finals by far.  Now for the next match.

Choir was great.  True country hospitality.  The lady sitting next to Ral had one of my Portuguese Custard tarts.  She told Ral she thought she had gone to Heaven.LOL
I had 2 Asparagus rolls,  something I love but never make.

Yes, the footy was an excellent game and perfect for my team.  Nerve racking though.

We had a car run today. We met in East Perth and drove out to Guildford where we went to a taxidermy museum.it wasn't really my sort of place so a couple of us snuck off and had coffee.  We then drove up into the hills and had our meeting and lunch. It was beautiful out today.

DH and I are off on another four night sleepover tomorrow.

Thanks.
We drove to Westonia today. It is east of Perth and about 9km off the road to the east. It’s a lovely little town.  Mainly a farm town but they have a gold mine just out of town which is up and running at the moment.
We only saw a few orchids today. Tomorrow we are heading north from here to Elachbutting rock.  This is a free camp and there is no coverage there.

Cookie,  that sounds idyllic.  Love the orchids.
K Atie, glad all going well.
One of our appointments for today was cancelled. Free day so will probably go to Prahan Market and Essential Ingredient.

Lovely orchids Cookie.  Are these Donkey Orchids?

K Atie, glad you are resting and recovering.  Well done to your DS and DD with their hockey.

DD is moving so today with all the furniture moved yesterday I spent 6 hours down there helping her clean and clear cupboards. Surprisingly my back held up until just as I decided I’d done enough for the day, resting at home now with a cuppa before going through all the bags of stuff DD put in my car.  The nursing home trading table will do very nicely this year thanks to DD.  Still so much to do, such a big house so I’ll go back on Thursday.

Such delicate little orchards cookie.
Good to hear you are resting and no longer need the crutches Katie. Will you be able to watch the the hockey finals?  I hope your DD hasn’t done too much damage to her knee.
