I've never been to a Costco, probably as well as I feel I might just be too tempted by many things!

JulieO, it is much cooler here as well today, this must be the weirdest summer I have ever lived through, going from one extreme to another.

That's a lot of bottling, Chookie.  When our neighbour gave us loads of apples last year, I just stewed them lightly then froze them, so long as you don't need or want them to look 'pretty' they are fine (they worked well in RTE's apple muffins)

Julie you could spend half a day at least in Costco checking out what they sell - the diamonds are magnificent but not something I could just pop into my trolley!

They look nice Chookie.
DH and I both have Costco cards Judy. DD said she wasn't paying up as I could buy her what she needs.  ;D ;D ;D ;D I told her I would as long as she pays me for it.
I'm looking forward to it opening. I must make certain of my prices before I go over there shopping. It takes between 20 and 30 minutes to get there, depending on the traffic.

Make sure you buy a roasted chicken cookie, they are the best and reheat without drying out as they are not overcooked in the first instance.  It will be a madhouse when it first opens.

Late this afternoon a friend and I went on an outing with my Wellness Centre, we hopped on their bus at 3.30 then went across town to pick up more passengers from one of their other facilities before heading for the Goodwood Hotel for an early dinner in a private room, lovely. Then we went to Beautiful, the Carol King story which was a wonderful show. It went down really well with the huge crowd.  Best night I’ve had in ages, great music and lots of laughs from the show and with the ladies - home at 11.20 pm so another long outing.

Thanks, for all the good wishes for Rals Platelets.  He has another test on Monday and Specialist on Wednesday.  Will know more then about the Platelets.
Making Apple and Plum jelly today.  Will probably take all day. At least it’s not hot.  It usually is when I make jam.

Diamonds!!  I never would have imagined them selling things like that!  Must be great to look around, then again, probably a good idea there isn't one close by.  :-))

Chookie, I like the sound of those biscuits, I will make some soon as I haven't made any bikkies for a little while. DH goes back to work on Monday so will be nice for him to take.

I have been having more trouble with my home phone & internet so I rang my service provider, spent 45 mins on the phone with him and hopefully we now have it sorted out.

A doctor's appointment this morning and then supermarket shopping.  Enjoying a cuppa now.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I started the morning by bashing our clock radio in ;the bedroom. The alarm wouldn't stop! So its the bin for that. Next was the hairdresser- I just made it as the traffic was heavy. I then went to Telstra as they have put our mobile costs up again, they said come back in 15 minutes, which I did. then they were running 15 minutes late.
Next stop was the chemist, they were fine, except I managed to dislodge a shelf of lollies as I was paying. I commented that I should go home, a lovely young man , who was helping pick the lollies up  commented that it was probably a good idea! then he was embarrassed at what he had said. Poor guy. I thought it was hilarious. I nearly backed into a truck as well. I felt safer when I got home! Just a disaster day.
Lovely new day tomorrow.
