Today I have managed to stick my fingers, 3, to the wooden handle of a wooden spoon. With nail polish remover I managed to unstick them.
Good news from CruiseGaru, they are trying to process the refund.
Going to weed a large veggie bed.

I’m sure all the cruise lines are processing refunds of cancelled trips at the moment so not surprised there are delays.

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts . DH and I have been to kids school house sports yesterday , it was DD last one so a few tears of pride when in thier last relay race they all joined hands and finished together , it was fine as B level only . DD s legs hurt today as she was in the 800, 400, 100 and relay . Today it was DS semi finals cricket game ,batting . Tomorrow they are fielding ! Great that DH has been going to these.
Trying to get my head around the fact that it will be 12 weeks of DH not able to drive as well , hopefully next week DH will find out more regarding all this .

I managed to stick my fingers with super glue. It set so fast that I didn’t realise that it was running down the handle of the wok strainer that I was trying to repair. Stupid. 
KAtie, nice to see the kids co operating and having fun.
Having lunch next Wednesday with friends who have paid up for 2 expensive Cruises later in the year.  I think that they cannot get refund as it is past the date.  I think that given the virus they should at least be able to postpone their trips.

Today is the Classic Car Show here. I was going with DH as usual, but DD said she would like to go. She doesn’t get the opportunity to do it very often as she can be rostered on to work or on call.  Being on LSL she can plan ahead.
They have taken the old Model A Ute.

I’m glad DD bought her Mustang and didn’t plan to go overseas with this Corona virus around. She is too I think.

Chookie how did you unglue your fingers ? A friend of mine was going to India on a cruise, it has been canceled too.
Day two of cricket semi finals, they won ... off to finals next weekend! DS has also fire brigade regional trials next Sunday which he will have to cancel . Cold morning but sunny warmer this arvo .
DS and DH both saw a person  tell an Aldi customer off for buying a trolley of toilet paper ! Sad , such stupid behaviour.

KAtie, I used nail polish remover.  Took a bit of skin. I buy super glue in a packet that has lots of little individual squeeze tubes. Very handy.

DD rang last night. She has been away all weekend at a bike riding activity.  She said she had a cold with an awful cough.  I told her to go to the Dr in the morning.  She rang first and the Dr greeted her in the surgery car park all dressed up with anti viral gear.  She was wearing a mask also.  Said it was just a cold and told her to take the week off. Everyone is a bit twitchy. I’m glad as we are very much in the high risk group.

That’s understandable Chookie, better to be safe than sorry.  I hope she becomes well soon, you wouldn’t even want to catch her cold.
