I wondered whether I should be holding my breath a bit longer and breathing every third or fourth stroke.I try and breath every third stroke alternating between the left and right side. It is called bilateral breathing and is good for achieving a balanced stroke. I don;t hold my breath though. I take a breath then start exhaling slowly and steadily until I tun my head to the other side to breath again. Think breath-bubble-bubble-breath. Swim Smooth was a reference to a website about improving your swimming technique.

Could you use a snorkle Amy? Then you wouldn't have to turn your head.
Long walk to get up the km's for the Melbourne half marathon in October. No where near as sore as last week. Basketball with DS and shopping with DD. just having a rest and glass of sparkling before finishing off the slow cooked lamb, tatziki and salad for dinner.
Dede you can come and weed, mow here if you like....Cooking and cleaning..
Cooking so that we don't starve while camping.
