Got to get DH out of the house occasionally Amy and it's nice sitting there watching all the fitness fanatics running, walking, cycling or whatever.  All ages, shapes and sizes - very entertaining ;D

DS1 came for weekend and has now gone home.  I should be doing some cooking but will leave that until tomorrow.  Sat down and finished a book from the library.   Feeling very tired, must be old age catching up.

Remember you are only as old as the person you are feeling. Oops I mean you are only as old as you feel.  ;)

Right now I feel pretty old. I went for a long run this morning (28km). You know it is going to be hard when the first 4 kms hurt. I finished it but walked more than I would have liked. I am starting to think I might not make my marathon.  I still have a couple of 32km runs to complete over the next 6 weeks and I am not looking forward to them.

After a day of cooking in TMx yesterday and having friends round for dinner I am having my dinner cooked for me today.  It is my last day without the family I go to airport at five am tomorrow to pick them up. Just about finished the long list of things I wanted to achieve whilst they were away.  Did a bit of browsing as Sunday shopping new to WA, thank goodness we have now caught up with the rest of the world!!

DH and I picked up my mum and went to the farmers markets and then took a walk on Newcastle foreshore and a visit to Christchurch Cathedral.

Lovely day in Melbourne so we had a lazy lunch at a pub overlooking the river then visited some friends nearby. No cooking, will be a scratch meal tonight, too full from lunch. Getting ready for the week ahead, both kids have wheelathons, eldest DD goes away to camp, youngest DD has a school concert - busy week!

Yesterday really, but my girlfriend and I made a mechanical cow so we can train our horses for cutting. It is fantastic for our first effort, cost us nothing with some old cray pot rope, an old excercise bike and a kids bike picked up off the roadside junk out, and a chaff bag, but we do need a few improvements. (biggest one we decided is an esky with some cold bevvies in it for the person on the bike!) We'll get there.
I didn't take a picture, must do - it is a piece of working art and our "boys" got the hang of it so it works. Yay!
Did a bit of training with my horse on the 'cow'.
Also helped hubby fit a roll up shade thingy-ma-jig to the truck for when we go camping.
Hubby cleaned out the shed so my horse float could go in.
Had a coldy (or 2 ;D) out the back at the end of the day.
