Today I had my first rehab session in the hospital gym, the new me is nothing Iike the old one who went to gym twice a week.  Baby steps.  My gardener was nice enough to drop me off and pick me up as today is pretty miserable here, wet and cold.

Judy, glad you are being looked after.
Cookie, love the thought of your budgie sitting on your hand.

I love Cheese, all sorts. Tomorrow we will be near a new cheese shoop that has set up and will probably buy some. They have fresh mozzarella, burrata, smoked mozzarella and sometimes a couple of other sorts.

Judy, you have been out of action for a while. It will take some time to get your strength back. I find if I go without walking for a week then I have to start at a lower speed and less incline. Maybe that is age though. ;D ;D ;D

Judy, it is always hard getting back into the swing of the gym again, but you have gone through a lot recently and it will take a while to catch to where you were a couple of months ago.

So so cold and windy . DH and I went and checked the ewes and lambs . DH Saved a ewe as it had a dead lamb stuck ! But a few cheeky lambs were stuck on the other side of the fence , I had to chase the lamb to catch it and put back over the fence , too cute ran too it’s mum . We managed to miss the skiffs of rain but it was so cold my lungs felt cold . Warm inside by the fire now .

I reckon all of us over in the east need a big pot of steaming hot soup to warm us up!!

It’s a cold, miserable day here too and the best place to be is inside with the heater on.  DD did some shopping for me then stayed for a nice, long chat before watching the first half of our football match.

I noticed that everyone east of us is freezing with many having snow. A lovely spring day here.

DD and I haunted the shops again today. It was the shopping centre where the lovely cheese is made. We managed to resist. We had coffee at a little bakery that makes SD. I wanted to buy a loaf but DD reminded me that I usually say ‘my bread tastes better than this’, so I saved my dollars.
I picked up a couple of pairs of jeans with elasticised waists. I found on our last trip that as my waist thickens 😀😀😀😀😀😀 jeans with a button and a zip stick into me in the car all day.

Judy, don’t be too hard on yourself with the exercises.  You will come good.
Cookie, I love French cheese.  The box of 4 cheeses that I bought is lovely but a bit too much the same.  However we are trying to support local, ( Aussie made stuff) through delivery.
Huon Salmon have a special offer at the moment so will order some.
Making SD English Muffins today.  Made 21 SD crumpets yesterday.
Saw a recipe for Lemon Pickle, might have a go.

We had a car run up to York today. It was fun. We actually had our jumpers off up there while we had the meeting. It was a slower trip home as one of our newer members was having trouble with his Model A. Then everyone stays behind them and 'helps' out when they have to stop. His wife was saying she wished we would all go on home as it was embarrassing. I remember it happening to us long ago and I totally agree with her.

Another of our GD turned 21 at the weekend.  She wasn't able to have any celebration but we did have a long chat on the phone.  That's two 21st and an 18th this year and no party for any of them.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
