So many special occasions not being able to be celebrated Margaret, how disappointing for the 3 GC and family members. I’ve only had my youngest DD’s 50th.

Mab, and Judy, that is a shame. We also have missed many celebrations this year. Oops even forgot GS Birthday.

Mab I think we can cope with it but it is so awful for those who are having a special birthday, be it 18, 21 or 50. They will probably remember it.
We had friends round this morning and then this afternoon one of the Model A mob called round.

Unfortunately I think Birthday celebrations will be different for a long time .
We had a normal iso home learning day . Then it got busy DD went for a walk , while talking to her DG she looked down to find a Lamb bleating at her , now one could say she then called it and rang me to say it was following her home , really !! “ my words put it back in the paddock with the ewes now ! It was super cute as she filmed it too. DS grabbed his bike to see what in the world was going on and all was fine no lamb following her home .
Parent teacher interviews for a few hours for DS the super quick change for Zoom yoga . Yoga was so hard I’m going to have to walk each day if I want to keep fit .

I try to walk every day KAtie, it helps keep my blood sugar down. I usually end up doing it after dinner.
I had planned to do the grocery shopping this morning as DH took the old ute down to a high school. He had met their teacher at a vintage car day and he had asked him. He said it was a lovely school and the kids were well behaved.
I was completely lazy and will do the shopping tomorrow.

I had another silver lining this morning ... I got off a speeding fine
In reality, I was speeding, if not by very much, but I was over the limit, but there were extenuating circumstances so they just issued me with a warning (and no demerit points) instead.

Very lucky Marina .
Weeded veggie bed ready for DS to plant some seeds for Ag Science.. well told him where I was going to plant my seedlings and were he could plant his !! Came out to find he had planted 200 carrot seeds !! Spring Onions and chives . No much room for the others , oh well deep deep breath , he then turned over my tiny patch and a few more jobs , thank heavens for boys .
Cooking and a big messy kitchen to clean up .

That was fortunate Marina. KAtie you will be making a lot of carrot recipes.
I did the grocery shopping this morning.

K Atie, hope you enjoy your garden. I miss mine, being stuck down here in the city, and as I can't tend our one up in the country it is just a weedy mess ... one day I will be able to sort it out and get something productive happening there.

The weather has changed to very wet and windy. It’s going to be a Bank Holiday this weekend.

Yesterday was very unpleasant. Strong winds.
We are learning to use the power from the Solar panels. Yesterday I did 3 loads of washing, dish washer and used the AF, all without using any power from the grid.
CC, we regularly check your weather to see what you are getting. As we are usually freezing, we also love to see what Cookie is getting and hope some of Judy’s weather is coming our way.
Marina, that is good news as speeding fines are expensive.
Ral’s platelets are good, now 6 weekly tests. He can now also have an occasional glass of wine with dinner.

Chookie, that is good news for Ral.
Marina, how lucky were you to escape a speeding fine. My kids once told me I will never get a fine as I don't drive fast enough. So far so good.
I did a load of washing this morning as the weather is fine. A very windy day yesterday.

I did a load of washing as well, Margaret ... isn't it great to get it outside to dry at long last!

We’ve had some lovely days here but I must wash tomorrow as there is rain on the way on Sunday and later again next week. I was up at the crack of dawn this morning to go to another rehab session in the city on the train which included an hour’s walking to get to and from the station to the hospital. Feeling quite fit now so should be in good condition by the 7th Sept when radiation treatment will commence.
Things are going well for you and Ral Cookie, that’s good to hear.
Marina you are so lucky to have found a compassionate policeman to let you off the fine.
I guess you’ll be asking for suggestions of what to do with all those carrots when they’re ready to pick K Atie LOL.
Enjoy your weekend everyone.
