Marina we are thinking of you.  It is truly awful.  We normally cope well but this time is has been a bit too much. We are still in partial lock down, no visitors.  That for us is the hard part. People are out and shopping like mad.  Everyone is expecting another lockdown for regional vic.
There are Melbourne people everywhere. Restruants are asking for identification and turning them away.
We had takeaway coffee on Saturday, and shared a lovely shortbread biscuit.  We sat in the car to enjoy both. Sad.

Chookie it’s hard to be separated from everyone as we are . Didn’t realise that so many Melbourne people in Ballarat , I thought they had the ADF out monitoring that . Life seems very challenging for so long now . School holidays coming up but seems it will just be the same , wish we were able to have a drive on the weekend but farm life was too busy . That’s ok now I have to think up something different for the holidays period ! DS is on independent learning day ... he has not stoped working yet . Think he is having a break but just not telling me .

A visit to the doctor this morning just for some scripts.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

We had organised a coffee run to Whistler's Chocolate factory this morning. Another of our members had suggested we visit a Pensioner Guard cottage on the way. He organised the tour of it. It was very interesting, but did necessitate an early start as we had to be there by 9am. We had a fantastic roll up of members, about 30 I think.

We are supposed to have a 14 maximum here today too, but we have heavy rain and maybe hail with it.

Yesterday I planted out 20 Little Gem lettuce seedlings. They are particularly recommended for Ballarat.
Today I’m not going into the garden as we have a wind weather warning.

We had a very windy, noisy night last night Chookie, the debris on the back lawn was more than I usually get on a stormy winter night.  Today was lovely. I had routine blood tests then went to the kids’ house for a couple of hours to tidy up a few garden beds and do a bit of watering. I’ll sleep like a baby tonight.
A haircut does indeed make us feel better cookie, mine seems to be growing quicker than ever these days but that could be because I’ve been taking Flaxseed oil for a few months now. I finally have new growth in the area I lost during radiation.

Your so right Chooky, a hair cut always makes me feel good and I’m glad you could get one with the lockdown.

Judy glad your hair is growing back.  Good luck with your blood tests!
