After major disruptions to everyone’s birthdays since Covid I think being able to celebrate them now is an opportunity we don’t want to miss out on K Atie.  Happy birthday to your DD.

Cookie, we would love to see the changes at Mannam.  Don’t think it will happen.
KAtie, glad to see you going for it with the Birthday celebrations. Happy Birthday to your DD.
DD and GS called in. Gave them the Chicken pies that I had prepared for our dinner. DD looked exhausted. Has been training to paddle from Wilson’s Prom to Tasmania next January.

Wow, that would be scary Chookie - your DD is one gutsy lady. How long will the adventure take?

Happy Birthday to your DD K Atie.  Our 4 eldest GD all had 21st & 18th birthdays during Covid so no celebrations for any of them.

Chookie, your DD is very brave taking on a trip like that.

Chookie that is a long way to paddle, over some rough clean I believe. Good on her, I’m sure she will have massive support.

That is incredibly courageous of her, Chookie.  Is she doing it alone or is it a team event? Is it a sponsored paddle?

Yes DD is a very gutsy woman.  There are 4 woman going together. I was initially very worried but feel better about it now.  There is a lot of support from many experienced  people. They have tracking devices and specially built boats. They are self funding. It should take about a week but depends upon the weather. They carry enough food for a month. ( she has asked me to dehydrate some hummus ) .They hop from Island to Island. They paddle for about 9 hours a day. If the weather turns bad, they stay on the Island. DD boat is bright pink .

DD still asleep .. oh well hopefully the days will get better . DD made cupcakes for her birthday tomorrow, I was going to make a cake today but was over ruled by DD .

Chookie your DD and crew will be well supported. I guess she sees it as a challenge. She is very brave.

Chookie they look really beautiful. I have some lovely vases but I just stick the flowers in.
This morning we went and had our second AZ. We went to one of the state run clinics. It was so professional, compared to the private one we attended last time. It was about 42km away but worth the drive.
This afternoon we had visitors.

DD was at work so I had to send her a photo.

DD helped in the sheep yards with DH , I suck off to yoga . Returned for lunch smoked salmon brioche roll , then DD drove with us to Ballarat to collect my car that had a service last week and all new tyres ( they took a while to find so a week later I get my car ) . DH collected a gerney and trailer , DD was not allowed to tow a trailer on Ls so she drove my car home . Bonus day for her payed farm work and hours clocked up all good. Home late again , zoomed around doing chores washing collected eggs ,still scared the snake will appear ,washing in off line ,feed kitten , folded washing and made prawn pasta for DD bday dinner plus some bubbles .
We are all trying to keep our spirits up as my DH SIL passed away on Sunday and she was as young as me , so sad , never can I get use to the final chapter of an Individuals life . What’s more DD is missing my DM so much today as I am .
