Yes you are right , so thankful that it was not serious outcomes . Apparently DH got a phone call regarding his DM late yesterday to top the day off , DS mentioned it to me , all I know she is in hospital but there is more to it I think the Queen Elizabeth is short staffed at the moment too . Let’s hope today is much better .  I’ll just make food for the boys that will help I hope .

Katie, you lead such a busy life it makes me tired just reading about it.  I hope your MIL recovers quickly.

I think most hospitals are severely pushed for staff at the moment.
DD and I did a bit of shopping this morning and had a coffee.

3 loads of washing as it very hot. A/C stopped working again.  Thank heavens for a cool change. Got up very early and made bread. Discovered scales on TMX not accurate.

I checked the scales on our two TMXs and two sets of electronic scales - all four gave different readings!  Being a very 'slap dash' cooker / baker I just go for it and keep my fingers crossed.  My thinking is so long as you use the same scales for the recipe I am making at the time it should work out.  Probably naive, but it seems to be working

l Escaped yesterday to port fairy for a night stay with DGF , so good . Made dinner for all workers then left . Chattered till late dinner a bottle of rosé  and a Netflix rom con movie . Maybe a little tired now but so good to catch up and stop . Home to do a zoom around the house washed my car and heated up some lasagna . To take to paddock all three are out there tonight ! I believe they all got home at 2am from the paddock last night ( this morning) .

Marina, I admire your casual attitude to weighing, but I can’t do it. Especially with bread.
K Atie, wonderful to have some me time.
Another round of trying to get someone o fix our A/C. Still not working.
Yesterday bought 3 sets of shelves for the garage. Ral insists he can assemble them. But of course he can’t. GS can.

The getaway to Port Fairy sounds nice K Atie, recharging your batteries is a good idea. I feel for the workers doing such long hours, they must be dead tired at the end of their day.

It’s great that your kids are so helpful K Atie, city kids wouldn’t have a bar of those hours. Do they plan to take over from you and DH in the future or will they follow their own dreams?

It's only 10.30 here so I really haven't done a lot. People are ringing DD instead of me with Car Club dramas. She is getting fed up with it. I don't blame her really. I have been sorting the problems out and a few other car club bits and pieces.
I have done the washing and hung it out.

I did all the bed lined this morning, it's now all in and folded and put away.
