Another very hot one here today. DD and I went out for coffee. Loved the air conditioned  shopping centre.

Like you, Cookie, when we lived in Hong Kong we used to go from one air conditioned mall to the next - the only way to keep cool.

We always did that in Singapore. 😀😀😀

I did very little again as it was so hot. The nights have been awful.

Just a day at home squirting  lorikeets off my apple tree ,  DH DS harvesting oats just behind house . DD drove to Ballarat to collect parts for the harvester. She hoped to see her DGM but as she had a visitor they refused to let her see her grandmother after travelling hour and half and no seen her since before Christmas!! Rules are rules , poor DBIL tried very hard to get her in . Harvesting oats today .

Not a lot here. I did some housework that had been neglected in the heat and made a fruit loaf for the freezer.

Oh Cookie I feel for you in the heat. When we had no A/C we went to the local Bistro at the Golf Club and had a very leisurely dinner.
Judy, great that you can enjoy a fresh Peach.
K Atie that is very sad that your DD wasn’t allowed to visit her GM. I think the COVID is quite bad in Ballarat at the moment so they are restricting hospital visitors. If the person who was visiting was prepared to leave for a short while, your DD may have been allowed to go in.
Rals not very well after the last Chemo infusion. Thanks to the the tennis he is able to relax in front of the TV.

I did some washing and then a little bit of  ironing.  GS called in at lunch time and ate his lunch with us.

Hugs to you both Chookie.
I’m just doing the basics while it’s warm.

So sorry to hear that Ral has had  bad reaction to the latest infusion, Chookie - was it a new preparation of chemicals? Love to you both

Thanks for the kind thoughts for Ral. He is having a full dose of this Chemo with blood tests every 2 weeks. His reaction is similar to when he was having the frequent infusions. Think it might be cumulative. It is a strange lifestyle we are living. Sometimes we eat lunch late afternoon. Then just fruit for dinner. Yesterday, roast chicken, chips and salad for lunch and just trifle for dinner.
Man coming today to check that the installation of blinds is possible.

Yesterday I spent 1.5 hours out the front tidying up the yukkas as it was green bin day and I like to put that out as full as I can. I got bitten by a wasp I didn’t see, rubbed some gel from an aloe plant onto the area and hoped I would survive until I was able to finish the area I wanted to do before coming inside and googling for info on these types of stings. The area became very red and somewhat sore but this morning it was fine. Today before it became too hot I was out the back cutting back and deheading lots of different plants for an hour.  I think I need to get the guys with the right equipment in again to do some more removals out there.

Judy, your garden looks lovely.

I had my hair cut this morning and did some washing when I came home.
