Isn't it wonderful when you get all your washing done, dried, folded and put away all in the same day.

Nothing better.
Cookie, it’s a Braemar heater with add on cooling.
The A/C saga continues. Yesterday the people who installed it brought a portable A/C and set it up. They finally know what the problem is. A blockage in the ceiling ducts. Too hot yesterday to get into the ceiling.
Today, RAL blood test, exSIL bring someone to see if we can add a reverse cycle unit upstairs. Hopefully the duct man will return.

So many people involved in solving your a/c problem Chookie, it will all fall into place no doubt.

Really appreciating the lovely cool change which came our way yesterday afternoon, got out into the garden and did a load of jobs whilst my motor mechanic was servicing my car today. Yesterday I had the bore man come to solve a problem for me.

I had an appointment to have a small BCC removed at 4 this afternoon. They rang and asked if I could go at 1.30. I said a definite yes.  I'm home now and all taped up. It is just inside my nose right up near my eye. My eye is watering in sympathy with it. It's like I'm crying with one eye. The eye is a bit puffy too so it's hard to read. IO will just have to cook tomorrow and not read at all. It's not sore at all though.

Ouch ... nose and eye both, I hope you don't suffer from hay fever - that would be no fun  at alljust now.

Hope you heal nice and quickly Cookie

Glad you could get in earlier and get it over and done with cookie, not a good place to have something cut out. Hope it heals quickly or at least that eye stops crying.

Hang in there Cookie. Not a nice experience for you.
A/C fixed. Just when it has turned cool. The people who brought the portable A/C want us to keep it as compensation for all the trouble.
Friend called in to see how we are going. Stayed for dinner.
Builder sent maintenance man to see to all the little issues that need fixing.
Ral off to hospital for the day for an infusion. DD taking him to give me a break.
That’s all so far!!

Chookie, good news that your A/C is finally fixed.

One of the local candidates  passed away just after the last election so we have had to vote again.  We walked up to the centre, did our voting and walked home again.  It's wasn't a long walk but far enough when you are not fit.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Great news Chookie, now you're ready for the next hot spell and have a back up unit if needed.

Chookie I’m so pleased your air conditioner is going. Ours gave up again today. Hopefully DH can fix it. We hadn’t hurried to order a new one, but I think we will now.
We paid for a new Model A today. Not sure when we will get it. It’s from a dear friend and he is finding it hard to part with. It was his Dads.

My eye is going well. No pain at all.

Chookie great AC working and a bonus unit . Overnight stay with DD at beach out with friends and breakfast out too ! Even had lunch out . DD and I were very tired. Home late . But have a fast routine of unpack car washing in basket . Feed cats also chooks . Tidied kitchen ! Put car fridge food away . Bin night ! Turn on tap timer for watering trees . Observe the destruction of lorikeets to half grown Apple trees . DD cooked dinner . Collected DS from other farm ... waited he had rapture long saw out trees cut down, cleared old bushes beside granny flat and rebuilding a small panel fence ! Home to dinner at 9 pm ! DH came home much later after carting wheat back to silos on farm . Thankful for seeing friends and having time out .

I sat around and thought how hot it was. It was 38°. I don’t know how I existed without air con. When it cooled down D H went onto the roof and replaced the broken part. He had bought it earlier in the day.
I did get some washing done.

Cookie, so good having the A/C fixed.
Ral is taking some special pills. He takes 4 a day. They are out of stock at our chemist’s warehouse . They are too expensive for the Chemist to keep on the shelf. Finally he got some so we will make a special trip to collect them.
We have lent our Bissell carpet shampooer to friends. Will collect it today.
It is lovely mild weather at the moment.
