Chookie what fun to have different seedlings. Always love the heritage vegetable plants .
Yesterday we had DS breakup for his Captain Clay target S . Made a slice . It was great to see all having such a good time and parents having a go as well , even a member of staff came along and had a go ( they might have a very sore shoulder today ) . DS did a good job with speeches too. Today is rest as I feel exhausted and my shoulder is hurting. Need to rake up energy for the week ahead .

It will be exciting to hear what unusual vegetables you have Chookie.
We went and ordered 6 slit system air conditioners this morning. One for each bedroom, one for the theatre and an enormous one for the living area. It may be while before they are in.
This afternoon some friends popped over for DD to sign some forms for them.

Wow, Cookie 6 systems. That will be wonderful. When they measured for my split system They said the size approximate was 7 . I ordered an 8. The advice is that although you pay more for the unit it uses less electricity as it heats/cools the area faster and then switches off. I’m getting a Daikin. SIL is one of the top sellers and installers in Australia . Next Wednesday they are coming at 7.30 am.

We have also started going down the split system track, I am looking forward to when it all gets installed (in several weeks' time).

Enjoyed the movie yesterday. My Sailor, my Love. Lovely Irish coastal scenery. Did a bit of shopping after. Met a friend and went for coffee.

So if I understand the split system they are the size you are talking about so an 8 is larger Chookie ! Going to clean my filters I think before the warmer weather comes . We only have two in the living rooms . I read somewhere the other day the hydronic heating can now be cooling as well . I had a good day yesterday no pain , but my neck is hurting this am so I’ll have to dose up as we have an enormous few days ahead . Two assemblies and a boarders formal dinner tonight . The next day is the last day of school for DS .

I have spent the afternoon searching my sewing room for the instruction book to one of my machines. I've taken everything out of the cupboards and no luck finding it. Tomorrow I will have to look in the drawers and boxes.

I hate it when you can’t find things Mab.
Our air conditioners could be a while, then we have to have them installed.
Today I went with DD to the budgie shop to see how long a new hand reared bird would be. They had no positive news as their main breeder had stopped. We went to another place and she managed to get one. It’s small and very quiet at the moment.

I spent some more time today looking for the instruction book for the machine and finely found it in a box with a partly finished quilt. I have no idea why I would have put it in there, it must have been a senior moment.

What a few days for our DS . It’s been fantastic yet emotional. Today was breakfast at 8 am , we got up at 6 ! But the boarders dinner was last night and that was great . Think I’ll tune in tomorrow as to tiered to tell all . But we are very proud of DS and hope this journey continues to be amazing.

Congratulations to your DS KAtie. My great nephew had his graduation the other night. He only has his exams now.
DD bought a new phone, so we went and picked that up today and had a coffee as you do.

Cookie, I’m glad you managed to get a new bird.
Margaret, good news that you found the instruction book.
KAtie a very emotional time for you.
Neighbour has invited me to go out for breakfast with her. I’ve faces up to cleaning out the linen cupboard. What I like and what suits the new house are two different things. What I like is winning.

Congratulations to your DS K Atie, they seem to get to this stage of life so quickly.
I’m the opposite to you Chookie, unless it goes with the house it gets given away. I think I prefer the breakfast/brunch option than any other meal when going out with others. Eggs/avocado/fruit shake does me just fine. Enjoy yours, soon (or maybe even now) there won’t be enough days in the week for what you want to do. Love it!
I hope your new baby budgie settles quickly into his new, loving home cookie.
Margaret, we all have those terrible senior moments and spend ages looking for something we know we have. My recent visitor has dementia and she was delighted when I forgot the names of people and places - I think it made her feel better about her problem although now I know so far my memory is nowhere near as bad as hers. So sad to see her struggling with it.

Judy that is so sad for your visitor.
Many years ago when we were working the partner of one of DH ‘s friends was diagnosed with early onset dementia. She and I didn’t like each other much, but we were always quite civil toward to each other. We met up at an evening show and she was like a long lost friend. Her attitude to me was quite different as she couldn’t really remember anything about me. Funny but incredibly sad really.
