What have you been doing today?

Drove neighbour to station to catch airport bus. She was in a bit of a state as she had missed her plane. Misread the time.
Final clean out of fridge.
Have been up dated again on Queen Elizabeth. Now in top suite with separate dining room . Seating for 6. I can now entertain in my suite. I can order food and cater for guests. There is a kitchenette for food prep. I won’t be doing it. The butler will. Don’t think I’ll want to come home!

Chookie that sounds amazing. My brother cruises into Melbourne about now on the QE2.  He said they had a wonderful time. I will continue tracking the ship as you are on it. Have a wonderful, relaxing time.

I had my hair cut today.

Chookie , the cruise sounds like fun . Where are you going to ? What luxury your own butler .
Today was nuts , Xmas food shop . Collected the Turkey stuffed breast . Lots of food and present shopping too. I forgot to get some medicine for DH … I was on my way home and had to turn around to go back to get it ! The last box in town … nearly killed me . Home so late . Filled the fridge up and did chores then cooked dinner to boys . DS came to collect dinners , harvesting Oats !

Cooked beef today . Cleaned DMILs house for all to have Xmas lunch ! Payed the table and took half my stuff there . So much work but that’s ok ! DH and I went to Christmas service tonight . Home to watch The Holiday movie with DD DS a glass of bubbles too . Fun.

Yesterday was busy preparing food etc.  Today has been eating, reading and sleeping all on repeat. 😀😀

Got up early to prep the turkey . Presents opening followed by croissants filled with strawberry jam and raspberries. Then more food prep . Lunch smoked salmon blinis and champagne. All the meats DH carved and DSister IL made peal couscous tabouli salad , noddle Asian salad and potato salad. I have Balanced asparagus and broccoli with butter and salt . Lots of honey mustard for the ham . Followed by DSILs pavlova, chocolate ripple cake , plum pudding ! My Christmas plum pudding ice cream ( my late mums special recipe ) and I made the strongest brandy butter ( frozen ) . Then Xmas shortbread and salted caramel fudge ! Plus lots of goodies DSIL made . We cannot move tonight … I had 3 smoked salmon blinis as DD made them for me . Hope everyone’s Christmas meal was fabulous. House all packed up and a car load back to my place … that’s tomorrows job to put all away !

Today is eating up all the food !! And telling the rain to go away . DH will be contemplating how to manage the shot wheat crop and I’m just hoping the oats are going to be ok , all fingers and toes crossed please . Farming life is never ending , but a beautiful day with our kids yesterday was so good .

Lost time in the paddocks K Atie but more memories made inside, some things are meant to be. I hope the weather clears up soon for the farm work to re-commence.

Yesterday my brother and his wife came over. His wife has Parkinson's. I'd forgotten what a dreadful disease it is.

DH has left early again to met semi truck to load oats ! They are carted off the paddock, but due to the rain it’s a challenge as the oats have to be transported to the road to then load up the truck . These drivers are machines as they are up early and back twice a day sometimes. DH DS have been detaching lambs for a few days . Best make the most of the sunshine today and get as much washing on as possible.

I popped up to the local Westfield for a few necessary things. I got out as it was becoming busy.
