Marina , congratulations on your success with the tomato seeds. At Ballarat , they say not to plant out until after Cup Day. I’ve planted out 2 tomato plants but covered them with plastic igloos.
I think succession planting should work but they will probably all produce together in the end. Last year I picked all the green tomatoes at the end of the season and put on a tray inside. They ripened over several weeks.

A friend came for afternoon tea today.  She brought me a bag of veggies from her garden.

Yesterday, as promised my  new RTE book arrived. I must say I’m impressed by the efficient delivery as promised. The book is very large and has  beautiful in your face photos. Can’t wait to try the recipes.  Thanks Judy.

My brother and his wife came over today. Her Parkinson’s seems to be making rapid progress. Not nice.

New Cafe not nice. Couldn’t see anything low cal to eat. There was an Apple slice that looked interesting. I’ll try making it.

Had my friend over to do a few garden jobs then he suggested we go to the Virginia Nursery (it’s huge). It was nice to wander around, I didn’t need anything but he bought some plants and one for me as well. After he left I spent 2 hours in the garden doing other jobs but it’s a lovely day here so I enjoyed being out in the sun.

A good idea Judy, before the heat comes.  Next week is looking warm for us.

We have had 2 Spring days, so far. I covered my 2 tomato plants last night as there was a frost warning.
My next door neighbours are taking me out for lunch.

Just arrived back home after enjoying our favourite weekend of the year - a three day chamber music festival in Heathcote.  Always love it - eating, chatting to lots of very interesting people and of course, listening to lots of wonderful music.

DD and GD came this afternoon and brought me a new mobile phone and then set it up for me.   My old mobile is on 3G and will no longer work after tomorrow.

Mab, how lovely.  The new phones are very good.
Marina, Heathcote , has really come into its own over the last few years, probably partly due to this festival. What a lovely weekend.
Tai Chi and book club.

We took the motorhome down to Costco to fuel up today. We have to be careful as it is so tall. Then DD and I went to DFO this afternoon. I’m pooped now.
