yes I agree, go home Sue and start again tomorrow!
Working from home today - don't usually work Tuesdays but have had to move days around a bit. Not too busy today so I get some forum time.
My new 6-in-1 is staring at me reproachfully from the floor of the study (haven't found him a permanent home yet). I've only used it once since I got it over a week ago and it worked great but I need some inspiration... so I've just ordered Suzanne Gibbs' pressure cooker cookbook. Not really the weather for hot meals at the moment but need to get some practice in for winter!

Keep cool folks.

I spent 20 minutes in a queue at HBF this morning, then topped that off with a 40 minute wait after my appointment time at the podiatrist. Why have appointments if you can't stick near them. The trouble is she is a great podiatrist.  :'(

Even though we don't work Cookie, our time is precious and I also hate sitting in waiting rooms when there are so many other things I could be doing.  I am lucky with the podiatrist for Geoff, they come to him for $5.

Nothing like waiting when you have an appt is there?
I always take a book now, and am so tempted to say to them when it is my turn (finally) -" can you just wait a tick until I finish this chapter please? Won't be long..."

I take my ereader Nikkit. I will have to try that one, if I am brave enough. ;)

Working on my baby blanket today, a present for a great niece or nephew due in the summer.

It has been fun and have had to teach myself crochet to join it up. Next time ( if there is a next time) I will knit one square by square picking up stitches as the joining takes forever. It has been fun and I made up the design.
7 colours ( inc joining up) , and 12 different patterns.

Only 3 rows joined at present, long way to go and all those ends to run in.  ;D

See what you think.

How gorgeous DJ, it's going to be a slow job but you will be so proud of it when it's finished.  Don't forget to show us the finished article  ;)

Wow, that is going to make one gorgeous blanket.  I love the different textures you have created.

I like knitting baby clothes, but I think I've given up knitting for my kids now...they take a lot longer to knit up now that they are bigger, and then they don't wear them!! DD is the worst for this!  DS has a couple of knitted vests still, although not sure they'll still fit this winter.
Luckily I have a niece or nephew on the way, so have to decide what to make soon...I'm terrible at sewing things together though, so I think a lovely blanket is out...  :-))

Nothing like seeing the littlies in handmade stuff - once heard it described as dressing them in a hug they can wear all day.  ;D
