I' m about to take my Mum to the docs. She's 92 and doing well. We go out every Sat morning and have done for years now. Then meeting my daughter and grand babies for morning tea. Hubby a go-karts all day and night. Dinner at daughters and salmon in TM for dinner.

thank god for some rain!
Was looking a little grim here, and why Hubby chose our income that's reliant on the weather....is beyond me!  :-\
Anyway....our mini ducks are happy too....they get a 2nd pool to play in

A day full of football again, but think I'll sneak home later and do some major catching up....DD working in the canteen all day, so she'll come home smelling like a chip fryer...it's yuk!  I now soak her canteen clothes in potpourri disinfectant....works a treat, but DD hates smelling like potpourri  :P

MF...not up to date with your traumas, but hope some good visits you soon.

Keeki....that's wonderful your Mum is 92, and going well.  My FIL will be turning 90 in August...a big party is in the works!
Enjoy your tea & salmon  8)
.........EAT CAKE!

Great to see you back MF and sounds like you have some good and not so good going on.

I'm off to the Good Food and wine show today with DD. not sure how she will be, she had a group of friends over last night and we could still hear them laughing and moving around at 3.30am and I can see a pile of empty bottles at the top of the stairs so thinking she may have a bit of a sore head or a not so great feeling stomach 😀. They are all just turning 18 and have the pressure of VCE, so it was good to hear lots of laughing and giggling even if some of it would have been alcohol induced.

Those ducks look great Maddy. We have no weekend sport here because of the long weekend so a rare weekend for us.

Your Mum is doing well Keeki, I have to really talk mine (90) into coming out these days.  We were invited out to tea the other night and she rang me 1/4 hour before pick up time and asked if I really wanted to go out in the cold :D  She reluctantly came with me to join my SIL's family for the meal then made the comment on the way home 'well, that killed a few hours - it was very nice"  :-))

Well shopping done, came home a tad tired. Mum lost her key card, went to bank to cancel it only to find it tucked inside her wallet. Poor love, she was upset about it. All good now, have just had soup that I created last night with all my leftover veggies.  Time to put feet up for a little while.

Yes JudyDawn Mum is doing well, she likes our trips out as its something to look forward to.

Glad you had a nice day out with your Mum keeki and glad she found the key card.  It is a terrible feeling to think it may have been lost and also such a hassle getting a new one.
