There was a huge crowd so much so it took us forever just to get out of there.. Crazy crowds so we decided to just head home and try and check out somewhere on the nth side but they have only lt up the city side of bridge and opera house.. Cheeky.. I wasnt going to brave nye style crowds with a 4 and 7 yo so we headed home after getting a few snap shots..

What was the attraction in the city Kim, if they lit up the bridge - why did they do that?

Thx gf yes the vivid light show.. You can see alot on google images.. Some of it was quite spectacular .. Just wayyyyy too many ppl

Thanks girls, Sydney always gets millions it seems at their special events - I have always stayed away from huge crowds so applaud those who like to get out there and be amongst it.

Finally cracked up, raw potatoes last night & I went for a bit of a run today a girlfriend came over to me when I was rowing & said I looked up & there you were running, I said I know, I am not sure what posesed me too

Goodnews lr, he is in a place for 6 weeks that deals & copes with kids with mental illness.

This morning we had to take one of our newer cooking machines in for a warranty repair. Not very happy about that.

Had a busy but good weekend. Cirque du Soleil was fantastic as usual. They are so talented and fit .
Looked after GK's yesterday as my eldest DS and family were moving house . Had 7 of them here but DD1 was here to help thankfully

The pollen count  in the UK has been particularly high today and no wonder as this field was just a mass of buttercups I feel sorry for all Hayfever sufferers

It looks so beautiful though CC .... People who suffer with hay fever have my utmost sympathy!! It's a miserable affliction!!!!

Hally good that lr has 6 weeks help in a centre.. Hopefully they will see he needs more help..

Cc the kids loved the circus.. It was a sml circus but the kids had a ball!

Jd since i went out for new years in the rocks and got threatened with a knife and one of the boys with us ended up stabbed for no reason and in emergency years ago and ppl are generally drunk and uncontrollable huge crowds freak me out a little so i stay away.. Normal crowds ok but on the weekend there were ppl everywhere...so many that the police were blocking cars from going in to side streets and only letting cars out.. Crazy!!

Cookie pity about your machine.. Hope they fix/replace it quickly!
