Tonight I'm spending the night in hospital as I'm having a sleep study.
I get quite a lot of headaches and I feel tired everyday. ENT specialist thinks I have problems with my breathing, with in turn causes problems with my sleeping. I'm going to be wired up to monitors and watched while I sleep. Not sure how much sleep I'll actually get!

Up until a couple of weeks ago I hadn't been to hospital at all in my life (never having had kids or needed any operations) but this is my second visit to hospital this month, as I had to have a colonoscopy in early June. I may be headed for an operation on my nose soon to fix my breathing, so my luck at avoiding hospitals seems to have run out!

Katie sending relaxed vibes for a reasonable sleep. Hope they get to the bottom of your problems. My dd had a sleep study done when she was young.  Over here some of the pharmacy's wire you up and then you go home to sleep and take everything back in the morning. We have been considering getting it done for her as she too suffers badly fom headaches and had sleep apnea when young. Good luck with it all.x

Thanks everyone.
Well I survived the night and am now home.  It was very strange being wired up from head to toe and trying to sleep knowing there was a camera and microphone on me.  It wasn't as hard to sleep though as I was anticipating and I did manage to get some sleep.  I won't find out the results until I see the specialist at the end of July.

Happy to be home though so I can enjoy my Friday day off work.  May need a nanna nap this afternoon though

Sounds a fun day at the casino Kayc, shame about gold bracelet. I used to go years ago when in Perth and my daughter was having medical treatment  she would spend $20 on the machines and I would spend my money in coffee shop 😃😃😃
