Have a lovely holiday ES.

Enjoy your lunch obbie.

We are off to collect a load of fire wood as we are nearly out.  Hope it doesn't rain anymore.

Thanks everyone. We are on the road -woo hoo!   DH thinks that I've overpacked, but it will be cold so I have packed parkas and gumboots and warm clothes. I'm just checking the forum before I run out of coverage :)

Oh Maddy what a shame.  I do hope DH is going to be out for the day and not get home until the wall has been patched and everything is back to normal.  Good luck with the packing of all your beautiful pieces, best you do it on your own though as one of us might manage to break one of the precious pieces.

Oh Maddy that is a formidable task. One thing at a time and it will soon be done.i hope that is not a supporting wall if you have to remove  the studs.

ES, hope you have a wonderful holiday.  :)

Mcmich & Obbie have a great day out with your families, enjoy your lunches  ;D

Maddy, that is a big job. We have a large bookcase that when we went to shift it found that the top half was made to separate from the bottom.  Made it easier to move in although still very heavy.  As Judy says, better for you to pack your beautiful pieces, won't get broken that way.
