Amy you do so much for your family..

I try Robyn :)

Good work Hally, you're on the right track by setting yourself little goals each week. You'll get there eventually and then you'll be able to see the back wall of your pantry! ;D

What possesed you to buy spam, or was it another gift ;D

Spam... :P
My DH went through all the cans in the pantry the other night, I asked what he was looking for... his answer: "I just feel like some fried spam and you never seem to have any in the pantry." I told him I wasn't sorry about that!!!!  :-))

I love SPAM. I would never really curry it. I could eat a whole can at a time. Love  it.

I may have a lot of Tins in my cupboard but there is no Spam! I thought I was doing a reasonable job of using up some of the cans in my cupboard, but then I found others in a different cupboard because they didn't fit in the tin cupboard......I've now moved all but one jar of pasta sauce into the tin cupboard and it's full again. I have two giant tins of passion fruit in sugar syrup in there that DD bought that I have no idea what do do with. Perhaps I could make them into jelly?
To top if off, he complained that he couldn't find any tins of soup.
Oh, and don't get me started on the jars of chilli sauce that are lurking in the other cupboard .

After a lazy start to the day, I've got to clean the bathroom, vacuum and wash the floors and the last of the dishes. Sigh,

Good idea H - I have Annabelle Karmel and Slow Cooker ones out at the mo.  :) - Look forward to seeing any you convert!  :D
Girls have Barbie DVDs and some books out too. Is good as its free and when they get sick of them we can just take them back and swap them. Miss 5 has some Enid Blyton books out, apparently her home readers are "way to easy and boring!" Think we're going to have a little bookworm on our hands - not surprising as both DH and I were!  :-))

Been reading books to Miss 3 and playing lego with her too most of the morning. (oh and washing etc.  :) )
:D

Gert

Gert, I have never actually tried spam. What is it actually like? How would you describe the flavour?
I'm assuming its some kind of fish...

Hally, some great choices of books there, I hope you get some good ideas and recipes out of them! ;D

I just had to walk to an appointment wearing a wet bra and jeans that are two sizes too big for me. Why? Because I did my washing last night and forgot to get it in from the clothesline :(

Hally we are allowed 10 books. It's wonderful.

I try to only buy the packets/tins of food I need for that week. Before I menu planned I kept finding all these way out things in the pantry. Now I find half used jars/packets.

Gert I don't mind spam either. The low salt variety. When we travel we always put in enough tinned and dried food for several days in case we get caught on a closed road or something and spam always comes with us.

Spam, sorry no go here. i remeber mum serving up spam sandwiches, not a happy memory.

We are allowed 12 books per card, so just used mine. It means we can get another trip in later in the week if they want.

Must admit was surprised at the choice, they had a really good Neil Perry book, but it was thick, so another time.

Drinking my $1,100 kg cuppa tea, really enjoying it. Then have to make bubble & squeak for the boys.

Really love having eb here, they get on so well.

Not eaten yetm but wil at lunch
