My mil went through chemo and radiation treatment for breast cancer and found that the skin around her feet and toes would peel so she used a hair dryer to dry them instead. Something to remember if needed.

The radiation also made my mum very tired. And it starts to leave burn marks after a few rounds

It doesn't seem fair, does it Mandi?
To get better, she has to have this treatment that will make her feel worse for a while.

I find that using a facial scrub that contains an abrasive like oatmeal is the best thing for getting your hands clean after using food colourings
Dede, I'm sending hugs too for your mum. My MIL had radiation, and it's not pleasant. Chemo is even worse.
My day has gone awry. My MIL rang to say she was unwell and couldn't come to hear DD sing. I got ready for work, took the kids to school, got petrol, bought a pressie and got to the shopping centre in time to listen to DD's school choir sing. However, part way through DD looked very pale and shaky, so I had to take her home
She was unwell yesterday too., but thought she would be OK. I've had to call work and say I won't be in today. We won't be able to go to the local Carols in the park tonight either. I'm hoping she will be well enough for the music recital tomorrow night.
On the bright side, I should be able to do some baking today as I don't have to go to work. I have to make 10dozen biscuits for book club next week, and I want to make some gifts for the teachers.
