How lovely to hear everyone's news.
CC and I had a recent catch up before we move away, that was great fun and thanks to CC for making the effort to drive.  Cookie your panetone recipe was a hit with CC too.

Sad news mcmich and you are so right about living life, we are trying at long last to arrange that to suit us all now!!!

Hope everyone has good holidays and good recoveries from all injuries etc, not forgetting the carers too.

Bedlam it would be lovely for us to have a catch up. The more the merrier.

DJ how lovely that you and CC had a catch up.

Mich I will take your advice and try something different. I seem to be getting attacks more often. I bumped into a friend today who I went to boarding school with and even she asked me immediately if I had hay fever.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Very busy today, urgent pick up of our twins last night for the weekend. It is lovely having the trio back together. As they grow it gets easier and easier.

It makes it easy to go on holidays when you have a dog/house sitter GHM - have a great time over there.

So you have the older child, not the twins full time now Denise ?  Bet they love it when they get together.

No holidays for the school holidays here, Mr. maddy has too much work on, and I'm going to enjoy no sport for 2 whole weeks!

Will be attacking the linen closet today....and I just have to force myself to let go of the kids first quilt covers, tablecloths I never use, multiple comforters for couch snuggling etc.
I have those gorgeous towels coming soon from UK and there is just no space for them  :-\
baking should also be on the  cards today.

Just entertaining the kids here while DH works as usual!  He's meant to be home by lunchtime though. Fingers crossed.

Doing some baking ready for the coming week.  And a LOT of washing - poor DD was sick late last night, so have to wash EVERYTHING.  She seems back to normal this morning though :)

We are having the annual day at the races today with friends.
Will be back late so posting in advance.
Coming home by train as DH has to work away a long way from here this week and it is easier for him.
Leaving my car at the station this morning for tonight.

Here's hoping for a few wins. Stake money in one pocket, winnings in other. Simple.
Will I come home better or worse off? It'll be fun to find out.
