That will give you more parking space Robyn.
Today is DH's birthday. We were woken very early by his Mum ringing. She said she had been trying for an hour, thank goodness she must have been mis dialling. I feel sorry for those she woke.
I had to get up to give him his gifts of course. He loves his iPad and is amazed at the projector clock Gert. He then spent most of the day at car club. We've just had an afternoon coffee and cut his birthday cake. He wants hamburgers and rice pudding for dinner. Suits me.  :D ;)
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

A very Happy Birthday to Mr. cookie  :)

Well....It's in!!!

The hole in the wall was cut last night

...and even still, there was only a bee's you-know-what, space to spare  ;D I was a little nervous, as this was already plan C....plan D was an outdoors wardrobe!

First lot of wall patching today, more tomorrow, then the painting begins  :-\
problem is, I will now have to do the whole hallway as well, so think I will go for colour change.....then you watch....it will snowball, and I'll keep going  :P

Oh, DD is thrilled to bits  8)
.........EAT CAKE!

So happy to see it's finally where it's supposed to be maddy and now DD's bedroom is finally finished so I can imagine how pleased she is.  How is DH taking all this?  At least now you have a fairly quick solution if you want to remove it from DD's bedroom - the hole can be reopened.  That, I hope for your sake, is a long way down the track though.  So now you will be busy redecorating the rest of the house, do you do the painting yourself?

Happy birthday Cookie's DH - he is one easy man to please Cookie ;D

Cookie I hope the clock is successful. I sent one to a friend but it was not like the one I have . Turned out to be cheap crap and it did not even have a A/C adaptor so actually pretty useless. I was very disappointed and so were they. You live and you learn.

Wow DH must be pretty happy with those gifts.

A bit of both maddy  :D :D

I'm with you on painting, the prep and cleanup is the hardest.  I've been known to thrown the roller or paintbrush out rather than clean it  :-))  My painting days are behind me now though, I pay people to do the jobs I hate these days.
