Hang in there Thermesa.
DJ it must be frustrating at times, but well worth it in the end. Hope the good weather stays with you for a bit. Xx

Had to present professional learning this morning in Katanning, only about an hour and 10 min drive. Ate lunch in a cafe there and could barely stay awake on the drive home. I had to stop in Wagin (about half way) and walk around a little. After I got back to the office I went home.
I guess it is my turn to be sick.

DS6 had his first school concert tonight. He was a lion from the lion king. Very cute and I think the boy has a little rhythm too (didn't get it from me)

kimmyh!
It's been hectic around here lately as it is show week and DS, DD and I have been busy preparing entries. Things will calm down now as all the cookery had to be delivered this morning. I've still got some cleaning up to do, but I'm catching up on some forum time, stretched out on the couch, wondering if its too early to go to bed

Good luck ES. I know exactly how you feel. Such a relief when you hand over your cooking. Nervous wait now.

Wow everyone has been busy. Get well DD and good luck ES.
Looked at carpets and Lino today after getting the quote. Went back to the other kitchen place to see how they are getting on with planning.
DH away all day, and away tmro too. Made bolognaise for supper and got tomato on the living room walls! Hopefully tomorrow have a bit of a clean up in the demolition area, it is a big job.
We've had lovely weather, best summer for 7 years, but tonight I could feel the summer sadly slipping away. The nights are drawing in, and the wind is picking up, producing loud rustling noises in the trees as the leaves begin to dry before falling. Pears and apples drop from the trees, hordes of wasps feast on the ripening fruit. Elderberries and blackberries fill the hedgerows and it will be a good year for mistletoe..
Rain is predicted tomorrow, hope, they're wrong and I can garden. Today I poo picked ( the dog has no fav place, uses a new place daily) planted a camelia that was rescued from anther garden where it had done nothing since originally planted in 2005.
